It’s amazing how, when you know where to go, this game is actually quite short. I started NG+ the other day and made it to Farum Azula in about 3 or 4 hours, prob could’ve been faster even. Of course I’m pretty strong now and it’s my third playthrough so I hosed the bosses, but still wow, what a tightly constructed game this is.

They present you with a relatively concise core experience but wrap it in a very rich and mysterious world and kind of leave it up to you to figure out what your experience will be. Much different from most open world games I can think of - though obvious similarities to BOTW, which I think also allows you to more or less run right up to the final boss and have a go, although the lore of BOTW and that universe is vastly simpler than that of ER.
Unreal control. I saw a video years ago showing the fastest way to move on Torrent is by timing dashes (to the last hoof-beat of his second stride). I wonder if it could save significant time

Salut à tous ; je regarde "Tous les secrets du speed run..." et je remarque qu'il y a plein d'endroits à objets où tu ne vas plus du tout … Il y a donc donc eu une marge de progression importante. Intéressant.
Oui on a carrément changé d'arme depuis, la route n'a plus rien à voir donc la vidéo est un peu obsolète maintenant malheureusement. J'aimerais bien en faire une sur la nouvelle route mais j'ai pas trop le temps pour l'instant.
Je me rends sur UA-cam pour voir s'il existe déjà des speedrun de ouf pour Elden Ring... Impressionant! Peut faire mieux, je n'en doute pas. Te souhaitant d'atteindre ta limite bientôt ;-)

Stake skip is still possible in newest patch, do the torrent double jump as soon as the death animation starts and you should get it.
