Well done the team for another brilliant show. Thumbs up for Ruby and I hope all goes well for her. I loved Paul's attitude not to take the young roe buck. Sometimes is just nice to just watch them.
Thanks to all for another great show.Well done to Ruby and hope all goes well for her in the future. Sometimes it is more than just pulling the trigger. A great piece about Gamekeepers and their conservation efforts. Those are the stories that need to get out there and show the public that it is just not all about filling the bag. Thanks for sharing from Australia.
Good day Charlie and the team, awesome videos for this week with great contents.Gamekeepers looking after the wildlife as it is part of their jobs. Thanks for great shaws, thumbs up for all and greetings to everyone from New Zealand,, Tony.
"Game Warden" or "Wildlife Ranger" are terms Ive heard used here in South Africa. It's just pedantic semantics but anything in the arsenal against the antis is worth using.
Public land for recreational activities is desperately needed in the UK, this would be the number one thing that would introduce thousands to the sport overnight & places to go. I’ve seen countless people trying to get into hunting in the UK & to they have to jump through hundreds of hoops, can never have gone for treatment at a GP & the number one reason is the snobs don’t allow people on their land leading to people not having a place to go. On a Spanish FB group I was talking about going bow hunting in the North of Spain & the reception was a night & day difference, multiple offers of help involving invitations out, referencing for clubs e.t.c & just a completely different attitude than is experienced in the UK, people get their permission if privileged you enough & then don’t invite out, help or try do anything for others.
The frustrating thing about bad media coverage on conventional platforms is that the response from pro-gun media platforms is to just huff and puff within our own insular bubble, we just preach to the choir and do little to actually change the hearts and minds of those of the general public. There needs to be a means of our advocacy to be in the public forum in a significant and meaningful way.
Disappointing that in today's world women still have to fight to do something they love when actually they'd probably be better than some of the male candidates who don't have the same passion.
The feature on the gamekeepers looking out for wildlife is certainly something which should be shown on Towneyfile (Countryfile) instead of all the features on dead poets and artists country homes. They seem to struggle for real countryside related stories to fit in with the woke and PC narrative, yet if they spoke to gamekeepers they'd have plenty of real rural related content to broadcast, even if it does upset certain celebrities.
Hate to see creatures shot for sport . but the protection, preservation and management by those that do is righteous and should not outweigh personal feelings .
Appreciate what you say, and the decency for saying it; but if you have ever seen a trailer of pigs on the way to the slaughter house you would think harvesting the deer with a rifle a kindness.
Good, the more women involved the more stupid the toxic masculinity label becomes. We need women on board to push back harder against those who don't understand what shooting is about.
It is never about killing. My thoughts are two million years as hunter gathers puts in me a desire to hunt that I cannot suppress. And that does not matter whatever the gender

Ruby, you need to start your own UA-cam channel. I think you would be very good at showing the truth of it.

Used to leave undisturbed parts of fields for Stone Curlew in Sussex in 1985
