From some of their vlogs, I think they call Tomoya, Tomo-chan as his nickname, so I'm pretty sure Tomoya himself doesn't mind if the fans call him Tomo. Also fun fact, this song is the OST for the first live action movie for the anime "Rurouni Kenshin" and they've been the band who makes the OST for its sequels. I recommend listening to "Heartache" and it can tug at your heartstrings.
This song was also the main OST for the movie adaptation of the anime Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin) which had an international release and thus catapulted "One Ok Rock" to the international music scene.

Still my favorite song of theirs, and probably their most popular one. I always get hyped hearing it in concert! So the crowd in the video has been my experience haha
The Beginning is the song that made One Ok Rock's popularity take off in Japan and they treat the song like it's their anthem or theme song of One Ok Rock. Whenever they do a concert, they will ALWAYS sing this song (also Clock Strikes). Each concert I've gone to when they came to California (and this other one time concert I went in Paris) they sang this song, and it gives me goosebumps every time! I can feel the crowd around me starting to freak out when they first hear the intro screaming "OMG IT'S THE BEGINNING!!!" It really reminds you that you are listening to the same band even after they make new music.
Adding a little message Taka says in Japanese during the Yokohama Stadium concert "After performing this song (The Beginning), try to do something new. The uncomfortable feeling you have in your heart will eventually turn into a negative feeling. Before that happens, please everyone, begin doing what you want or have been wanting to try. I'm sure everyone have that feeling. If you don't have anything, start from here."

Even though this song is always amazing and the crowd is great like always, live at Yokohama stadium is always in a league of it's own. If you reacted to this song played live at Yokohama stadium, the crowd and energy at this performance feels a bit weak. Because live at Yokohama stadium is their first performance in a stadium they give their heart, mind, busy and soul to their fans. No one has been in complete control of a crowd like Taka was since Freddy Mercury, but to be honest, Taka was even better then Freddie. Sadly even though the crowd is amazing and have enough energy to light up a continent it's still not even close. Any song you're going to react to should be from this show that is if it's in the setlist.
