This is it. After this there will be no more Splatfests (until "Splatoon 2" arrives on NX, of course). And the final question is one for the entire world: Callie or Marie? for the next 48 hours everyone will fight in the name of their favourite squid Sister. Which team did you think I chose? Splatoon 2 in my opinion was rushed to get to the switch earlier.
Splatoon 2 really made the game look more... polished. But you have to admit, the music in the first game is really iconic.

I never got to play any of these splatfests because I never got the game even though I had the Wii U I got the game like late 2017 and I’m regretting not getting sooner before the splatfests stop all together

the best part about splat 1 fests people dont talk about: the MUSIC it was SO GOOD now or never splatfest in 1 is literally my favorite rendition of the song its just too good. definitive version of now or never imo

I'm sad that I never got to experience Splatoon's splatfests, but I also couldn't have really because I didn't (and still don't) have a Wii U or the game. I have played the heck out of Splatoon 2 though and the last Splatoon 2 splatfest looks great. I hope to one day get to play Splatoon before that community dies out completely. If I had been there for the final splatfest, I would be Team Marie, and I'm Team Order for Splatoon 2's splatfest.
I just got the game and the servers are still really active, im saying this because I saw that the comment was 2 years old.

I’m only here after seven years later because of how the plaza looks in splatoon three. The fox and tanooki (currently) have the same colors as this splatfest except it’s switched around for nessie and aliens!

I never once attended a Splatoon 1 splatfest. I had the game since a few months after launch, but never once experienced a splatfest.
I think both the squid sisters are great. But if I had Splatoon 1 around this time I probably would have chosen Callie. But good for Marie.

I've never been able to play in any tipe of console, and i was a kid when splatoon came out after the years splatoon 2 came out, and knowing that i wont be able to play it just makes me sad. And whenever i get any console this game and the secuel will be probably already dead.
Splatoon 3 it is then, don't be sad lad, give it time.
Sadly I wasn’t able to get Splatoon 1 even though I got a Wii U for Christmas in 2015 but I got a Switch for my Bday and I bought Splatoon 2 and I was able to do some splat fests. Now with the final splat fest in Splatoon 2 question is will Pearl or Marina be the antagonist in Splatoon 3? We will have to find out after the last splat fest of Splatoon 2.
