Nile is Nile and this is Narcotic Wasteland. Metal is all about following your path and writing about whatever you wish. Heck, now we have two killer bands.
The bassist is the shit hes really a guitar player and lead singer he's just feeling in we're he plays his part he can play anything he's a music genius
I like this better than Nile, but anyone who compares this to Nile has not listened to enough metal. They sound nothing alike. It has Dying Fetus vibes, but this is much better.
@@lutachristdupre9290 Ummm yes... This is band who are against drugs and alcohol although I know Dallas is not completely straight edge. He does smoke weed and drink beers and that's exactly what we did the last time I saw them live and got to meet him lol but the music has a straight edge mentality to it for sure.
@@UnendingGrimness They have all lost friends due to hard drugs and they speak against pharmaceuticals and the industry that surrounds them. Talking about how bad the drug epidemic is here in the US as well as the rest of the world does not make them a straight edge DM band by any means. Awesome, What show did you catch and on which tour? I play bass for them.
@@lutachristdupre9290 I said they have have a straight edge mentality, at least lyric wise and I never saw narcotic wasteland but I've seen nile plenty of times. Don't get so offended lol I'm into the band and if you're in the band and you say its not straight edge then that's all there is to say. PS : I'm not the only one who called this straight edge DM but I was half joking in my original comment.

cabalofdemons hell yea i love both bands of course nile has more of w easy style to get into
for real you guys need to sell an official narcotic wasteland crack pipe.
Truly magnificent as we've come to expect. Top quality Death Metal! \m/
It makes sense to live to October....
Say no to drugs.
I like it better than Nile
No
Way better
Me too
"too late for recovery, the damage is done" - so true this part about meth the rest of the song sounds like a rant though
Well this is a painkiller after watching some live stuff from Nile, the bassist/vocalist is just terrible, awesome track
talk shit
heres johnny well is just my opinion, you can pretty much fuck yourself if you don't like it boy
The bassist is a fucking animal live...big part of the band...killer
Ryan Lee Don't like it pretty much, I prefer Chris Lollis, but to each his own I believe
The bassist is the shit hes really a guitar player and lead singer he's just feeling in we're he plays his part he can play anything he's a music genius
I was sad to hear Dallas left Nile, but now it's like we have two Niles! Yay! Brutal shit.
Holy fuck. I still refuse to believe Dallas left Nile, but this sounds great!
Non addictive Prescription drugs can also cause people lasting problems such as antidepressants and antipsychotics
This shit goes haawrd! From one band with Waste in the name to another, we back this! *tips hat*
This sounds like Dallas. And Nile with Dallas obviously has Dallas's fingerprints all over it.
Dallas Toler-Wade fucking rules
My ears just jizzed banana milk!
That raw drum sound.. Good old times.
The fact that this is the second person makes me feel uncomfortable in a productive way. I never want to do meth now.
I'm just ready for the next album man
The best Death\Thrash Release this year!
this song is fucked up but its so true
Solid solo at the end!
Extremely high expectations for the new record! Good track.
Whoah. 😮
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

definitely has the war of attrition vibe on this one, almost sounds like duane timlins drums lol
@@collinmckenzie6371Duane has a distinctive style
I wonder if the lyrics are based on someone he cared about
Might be !
The drug problem (including prescription drugs) is so big in the US that most people can relate one way or another :(
Good stuff
😅
This was awesome.
Fucking awesome!
Brutal as fuck
Great
FUCK YES!
Damn this is just so Good 🙂
Damn, that sounds promising!
Now we hve two nile😂😂
🤘🤘🤘
EARGASM EVERYWHERE! FUCK YEAH
The style of guitar playing reminds me Nile, but in other "non-east" gammas. And sound is good
TheNidzhat88 Well, half the guitar here did supply half of Nile's guitar for over 15 years.
When i heard Dallas was leaving Nile i peed a little thinking that its full time now for NARCOTIC WASTELAND.
Fucking wow! /,,/
Rifftown USA
I'm the 500th like. Just thought I'd share
I feel honoured knowing I spoke to the bass player on Facebook, who doe's fractured fairytales.
I grew up with him we would sit in his room and I'd watch him jam out and write his music bad ass shit way to go Chris for tearing shit up
well that blew my ass off
Why did he quit nile?
dope !!!
Devastation...I beg for a cool video if meth abuse to this something with heads spinning and jerking uncontrollably like Jacob's ladder.
HOLY SHIT!!
Not big on the lyrics but everything else is on point! \m/
Words don't matter snowflake. Get validated elsewhere.
He's talking shit about tweekers. What's there not to like? Tweekers fucking suck!
What's wrong with the lyrics?
Meth metal :)
Cmon Dallas we know you can lower
I prefer to understand what he's saying. I think he actually has something relevant to say, unlike in Nile.
Everything the recent nile albums have been missing.
Wickle, I feel the same way! What Should Not Be Unearthed was extremely underwhelming. I can't put my finger on why either.
oh you mean an audible snare in the mix? LOL
agreed. the riffs were a bit stale and filler... plus it didnt have the feeling like their greats
same for me.
Dallas was the influence on the band to stop Karl going off the deep end (Saurian Meditation shows he’s not really a metal focused guy).
YES YES YES
Straight edge death metal hmmm Huge Dallas fan \m/
haha
xNILEx :)
Not doing Meth is straight edge?

Its like Dying Fetus meets Municipal Waste? Its cool but a huge intellectual step down from Nile
Do you live in the middle of a desert?
cwzialor No disrespect intended, btw.
Agreed
My arse
Intellectually this is exactly the same as Nile. Nile is borderline nonsense. And I say that as a fan since 2001.
These lyrics are so bad.
What re you talking about, they are good.
Exactly the same timing and delivery and style as Nile since Annihilation of the Wicked when Dallas took over frontman duties.
