Odin is beyond perfect!! It's big, detailed like crazy, and good paint! Him and the Destroyer are going up against my Galactis for sure. Without a doubt I ordered a second one coming in tomorrow 👍🏽
When the Geek-meister is ordering two of one figure, you just have to know that figure is going to be one of the figures of the year. ML really outdid themselves didn't they? Thanks for your review, I have been anxiously waiting mine, and it can't get here sooner. From your review this truly looks like a gem that ML produced. That 85th anniversary line is worthy, and there really isn't any duds in the line at all. Would it be too greedy to ask for a Balder, Sif, Warriors Three and a Throg? Is it too soon to ask for them? C'mon Hasbro.
Nice overview of the figure! The details are stunning! Articulation is a little weak, but I didn't expect him to be Spider-Man! lol. I like the horned helm that you like best also! I didn't realize his hair came off though. That is a surprise that I wasn't expecting. I will probably add touches of gold paint here and there on my to see off the studs on his armor, and I might hit some areas with my brown Gundam marker to emphases some of the banding and piping, but I'd say that I'm wowed by this figure! Thanks for sharing him with us!
@@GeekHangOver I'm not a super talented customizer or anything, but I do manage to pull off some decent repaint details. I gave Xemnu his properly colored eyes, fixed the color on Ultron's eyes, added black shading around the "H" on Hawkeye's forehead (he looks SO much better now!), stuff like that. Odin is getting a lot of work on his helmets and now they look so much better. That all-gold helmet was just too cheap and plain looking. I painted the eagle on top, the front plate thing and the "feathers" along the side a metallic blue to match the armor (every other feather, leaving gold ones in between). Now that helmet looks like it belongs to the figure!
Trash!! I paid extra from China to get him today and has bruh moves release to today 😂😂😂 I can't win. This is my fig of year btw. I was right. This was the one. Size colour's and pack ins
Oh? He's being released today. Crap!!! That means Phoenix and Hulk Buster can't be too far behind. I also grabbed that new Kang with the Time Chair and the Spidey and Vulture VHS two pack from PULSECON. They were both listed as being in stock and ready to ship. That means everything is all going to be charged to my credit card in very short order. DANG!!!My wallet is gonna take a big hit this month.
Don't feel bad my guy I ordered mine from Canada and paid extra for him and hulk buster I got mine yesterday and then saw they moved a release dates as well so I got burned too
@GeekHangOver I ordered from Canada too and then they moved it up. I got two now today and extra 60 out 😂😅 hasbro brutal on wallets. Cmd store for life btw.
Odin is taller than Thor, but not like this. This figure isn't just way taller, its way BIGGER. Its beautifully painted, absolutely. But for the exorbitant price, not only should it be accurate, it should be articulated. These reviewers saying he doesn't need to have double elbows/knees/ ab crunch etc. are just making excuses for hasblow's laziness. The Hulkbuster figure can do full 90 degree on the elbow AND has double jointed knees, and that's practically a vehicle, not a form fitting suit. Regardless of how big a character is, they should still have full range of motion. I bet if this Odin had the correct articulation, none of you would be returning it, demanding hasblow reduce it. Come on, man. You're better than this.
Apparently he does have double jointed knees, they were just locked up. But being "better than this" implies shilling. Now I haven't watched any other reviews yet, but I'll speak for myself. I am definitely okay with the articulation here, I'm not losing my Odin like Spider-Man, so because he's so dang gorgeous, I give it a pass. Now if he was phones in, it probably would have bothered me, but that's in a different dimension, so I can only speculate. As far as the size goes, which artist are you referencing? Simonson Odin was pretty buff.
They probably wanted him the same height as the Destroyer. Given that he can canonically change size and he often towers over Thor anyways I feel like it’s not too far off. He was roughly the same size as Thanos when Odin kicked his ass that one time. For the recent Legends figures for Thanos, the Destroyer and Odin they might’ve all even used some of the same retooled parts for their shoulders arms and legs now that I think about it
@@jjboy157 Were you just born? Odin stands at 6'8 Thor is 6'6 Destroyer is 9' feet according to the comics They should have used the new Ronan body mold
@@sinchman1 you mean according to the wikia you read? There are plenty of books where Odin is much, much taller than Thor. That also doesn’t negate the whole “can change size” thing, him being as tall as Thanos or you being an unprompted asshole lmao
@@sinchman1 why so snippy? You mean according to the wikia you read? Sure that still completely ignores the whole towering over Thor often, changing size thing, and him being as tall as Thanos but yeah fair enough.
@@jjboy157 I Did not get these numbers from Wikia for your info. These are from collecting Marvel comics since the 70's. That's why I ask if you were just born. Nice figure but to tall for me.

My 2nd is on the way too!

Thanks for watching and thanks for having more paint skills than me 😀
Wow. I didn't even know they could do it like this.
💯
An awesome figure! I hope Hasbro also makes comics versions of the Warrior's Three Fandral, Hogan and Volstagg. Also Heimdall.
You had me at "I hope"😀
fig of the year. Also he got double jointed knees big guy! Mine un seized later the other day lol
Even better!
Oh shit, he is way doper than I expected. My wallet says I must resist fomo. MUST NOT BUY 2
Your wallet is a FOOL!
Exactly the bulk and armor colors I wanted for a comic Odin, but that price is at least $10 too much, or he shoulda come with a throne.
He's $$$, but worth it to me, we waited sooooo long
Yeah, I'm going to have to do something with that all-gold helmet. It's too much gold. I'll probably tweak that as well.
If I had those paint powers....
