Thanks for watching! Yeah, the Sega Vectors are so great and fun to play. Rare to see in the wild! Rockola did a prototype color vector (based on Cinematronics hardware). The prototype tour is here: ua-cam.com/video/_RLL6As54PE/v-deo.htmlsi=p1ks0mXBRWq7LHMk
Fantastic video Del and what amazing collection Jeff! Never seen or played Zektor before looks super cool 😎 I’ve got a real soft spot for any game that has synthesised speech , i remember as a kid being blown away by it and actually being quite scared of it especially Berzerk. Really enjoyed this 😎👍
Awesome video Del!.. OMG all that Vector Nectar! Great to see that line-up. Those Sega/Gremlin vectors are often underrated, or maybe just hard to find... Very interesting about Eliminator...I love Warlords so that's something I'll look into when I get my Space Duel back and operational and install the USBDVG vector multi to play all these classics. Thanks for all your hard work on these videos, quality and content is top notch. Cheers buddy!
Awesome lineup. These were rare to nonexistent around Se Michigan arcades early, mid 80s. The Chuck E Cheese, Showbiz pizza arcades usually had only multiples of big name titles and a few or one of the more rare, like the environmental sit down Missile Command I played at a Ceasarland pizza arcade late 80s. Problem was, unless a game was a hit quickly, they rotated out of circulation quickly. Or low production numbers made them hard to find.
@randomfungames3208 Thanks for watching! Have you seen the full tour of the rest of the arcade? ua-cam.com/video/2mUeBfd6IaI/v-deo.htmlsi=V4e-4XMrYoDPnuEE
Ah ok, Glad to hear that you watched it. Well, more good news for you: Our buddy Gibby has a 2 story, 4,000 sq. foot arcade building that he constructed in his yard. Hoping to release that this year at some point. It's a monumental task!
Vector is/was such an underrated media. Like the video recording won’t show the clear ‘frame rate’ but it was so cool. Albeit not Sega, my local arcade has the OG Star Wars vector. Super fun because it still works beautifully. Regardless, super cool :)
Yeah, the vectors are similar to the way a laser light show works. It relies on the human eye's persistence of vision to see the beams drawing the image over and over.
On the plus side, the rarity of these made licensing cheap for Colecovision, where I played them. Yes, rasterized home conversions, but not bad way to experience rarer games in those days.
yes , Sega's Space game Vectors ! Star Trek was the best (imho) i seem to remember an old Seated Cabinet, restored with a Captain Kirk "Commander chair"; right off the Enterprise !
The production value of this show is top notch. Keep doing what you're doing
Thanks! I appreciate that! And thank you for watching!
I love classic vector display games! I wasn't aware of the Sega vector games. Thank you for sharing these games.

You bet I did. That is the arcade of my dreams as a kid and then some! Great videos and great collection.

Yes! The Captain chair cockpit version of Star Trek is sought after in the collecting community. It's a surreal experience playing in it!
