Love Motion City Soundtrack. Always have, always will. It doesn't matter what mood I'm in, there's always a Motion City Soundtrack song that can match it. :)
He wrote this about his grandmother who died of cancer, it's from the perspective of the person dying. It's so dark, and deep. It's a very good song, that's what music is suppose to do; to convey an emotion. The ending guitar makes it feel not so bad to actually "let go".
This song is so beautiful it has so many meanings. Like cancer, and death, and depression, and suicide, and self struggle.... This band needs to be recognized more. They're amazing.
I can feel it in my bones tonight Drain me slowly of the will to fight Glowing yellow in the bedroom light I can feel it in my bones tonight There is a terror in your eyes tonight Something awful has you wrapped in white Take me in your arms and hold me tight Cause I won't be here for long, my dear Settle our accounts Happy anniversary Show me how to calm your fears I'll do what I can Happy anniversary I can feel it in my bones tonight Swallowing whatever's in its sight Struggling to breathe with all my might Cause I won't be here to dry your tears Send the kids my love Happy anniversary Promise me you'll laugh, my dear, after I am gone Happy anniversary Happy anniversary Cause I won't be waking up, my dear Time has run its course Happy anniversary Now I'll say goodbye, my dear This will be our last Happy anniversary I can feel it in my bones tonight
i'm gonna have to say, this is probably my favourite album by these guys.....a perfect mixture of sounds, themes, tempos, feelings....just beautiful work
MCS have matured into one the best rock bands out there, by far the best on Epitaph. This album is incredible. Going to buy another copy today just to show my support. Amazing.
this song came on right after i heard my grandfather had passed from prostate cancer. i was driving and cried the entire drive to his house. this song will forever hold those emotions i felt that day.
ive been a big fan for years now and this is so foreign but so amazing it has the amazing mcs melody and it seems like justin is really exploring new territory i can see them being like A.F.I and being able to not only just play but display complete mastery of different styles and changing up there sound every few albums is and letting the music mature along with the audience is brilliant because i got into mcs back in middle school and im in college now and ive matured and so has my music
This song is incredible. I'm getting more and more into this album and for me it's starting to compete with Commit This to Memory, (The holy grail of motion city IMO)
I played this at work looking for something new to listen to and this is so amazing, first time hearing this song and i said wow this is depressing, really good but depressing. Sweet Poetry
Guys I didn't realize this was about death until I saw the video by MCS. I seriously thought it was about a dude who was breaking up with his girl on their anniversary. A real "wooooooow" moment when the lyrics hit me. Gave me shivers.
This is kinda like a 2010's version of Adam's Song by blink 182. Personal battles with depression, death, illnesses and even suicide. So touching yet so sad.
missed mcs concert in indy last week to attend the funeral of a dear friend i had been dating that committed suicide on the week of our 1 year anniversary...my daughter told me they played this song and it really freaked me out..
this is one of the most underrated songs ive ever heard, it deserves so much more attention than it has

I think about my grandma every time this song comes on. Every day she loses more of herself due to Alzheimer's and this song makes me bawl everytime
@@aar1551patd5115fobsorry you’re going/went through that. Losing someone always sucks. Take care.
This song is so hauntingly beautiful. This is real music.
This song is so emotional and powerful. Much deeper than anything else out right now. Thank you for making this. So sad.

This song is so beautiful it has so many meanings. Like cancer, and death, and depression, and suicide, and self struggle.... This band needs to be recognized more. They're amazing.
MCS fans seem to be the best people alive. glad to be a part of this.
I can feel it in my bones tonight
Drain me slowly of the will to fight
Glowing yellow in the bedroom light
I can feel it in my bones tonight
There is a terror in your eyes tonight
Something awful has you wrapped in white
Take me in your arms and hold me tight
Cause I won't be here for long, my dear
Settle our accounts
Happy anniversary
Show me how to calm your fears
I'll do what I can
Happy anniversary
I can feel it in my bones tonight
Swallowing whatever's in its sight
Struggling to breathe with all my might
Cause I won't be here to dry your tears
Send the kids my love
Happy anniversary
Promise me you'll laugh, my dear, after I am gone
Happy anniversary
Happy anniversary
Cause I won't be waking up, my dear
Time has run its course
Happy anniversary
Now I'll say goodbye, my dear
This will be our last
Happy anniversary
I can feel it in my bones tonight
