Why did this pop up in my head on a Sunday morning. I haven't heard this in over 20 years and the dude's deep exaggerated voice sounds exactly how I remembered.
I remember jam skating to this when I was 15-16. When this song would come on, the whole rink would start popping. It's so funny because, now that I'm 28, I stumble across this song and my mouth dropped when I actually "listened" to the lyrics. LOL, I never paid attention to that when I was young. I can't imagine what the parents on these kids were thinking LOL.
Stephanie W Yes!! We are about the same age and I had the same thoughts! haha Former rink rat and now roller derby mom, but this song came to my mind and I looked it up haha
I was reading this and completely agreeing with everything until you said you were 28. Then I realized this was 11 years ago 😂 I'm 38 so were about the same age. I really miss those days so much; 15 yrs old skating my ahh off all night 🌙 ❤
@@WhenWilliMissU Aww, thanks for responding to this. I literally got to see what I was doing over a decade ago. 😂 I'm 39 now and what I wouldn't give to go back to being 28. In case someone comments on this in another 11 years; I'm eating a bagel, wanting to do laundry, but can't because my cat is sleeping on top of the washing machine and I don't have the heart to move him. 🤣🤣🤣
They used to play this at a club I went to every weekend back in the late 90s. I haven't heard it since but for some reason it popped in my head today so I put in a seach for it and here it is! Good stuff!
Bought my first car, 94 Chevy Cav. while I was working at a dealership back in 98. This cassette was left in the tape deck!! Now at 43, I'll be bassing this shit in my 96 camaro. #fucksnowflakes
I was a kid when this came out. It fit the times. A man was confident about They d***! I didn't know if ding a ling gave a tingling feeling, but I was pretty sure it did. Now I revisited the song and I'm shaking my head. This song is crazy! They went in and went off!
i'm 26 & i remember very vividly my dad playing this song in his el camino when i was little, lmao. it never left my brain since then, it's too catchy, lol
Wpw... I haven't heard this song since I was about 12 living in Indiana 🤣 20 years ago till now this song just popped up and believe it or not. . THEY PLAYED THIS at the skating ring ALOT🤣 I had no clue what the lyrics was till now.
Thank you for adding this. 🥰 I grew up in a skating rink so I know a bunch of random songs and this is one of them that didn't immediately come up in the search algorithm but someone posted in a reddit post in the comments. 😅
So funny. Maybe hearing this once or twice in 1998- I find myself singing this at work, then look it up later on youtube. The human mind remembers the stupidest sh*t.
Dude, this song takes me back to what.. 99? I got some random "Bass" CD at walmart to test my new car stereo song and this song was on it. Out of complete parody it became one of the staples in my car for 2 or 3 months. I bet I could call any one of my friends from what, 25 years ago and do the supporting line in this and they would laugh. The 90's rocked. We had the internet but not woke people and cell phone zombies.
I put this in the middle of a Led Zeppelin cd I burned for my buddy! Guess he lit up a J and was relaxing, listening to the Led Zepp, then this came on! Hahahahaha!
id add sound effects and quotes from movies ... the best is when i did this to my sister and had "you sumbitch!" (from smokey and the bandit) in the middle of a cd
This is one of those songs that I wasn't sure actually existed or was a false memory of my childhood. It sounds more like an early 80s hip hop break dancing song than I remember!
Wow, I used to shuffle skate to this song a long time ago. It's funny because I was too young to understand the lyrics. Now that I listen to the song again, I'm like "whoa!" lol. But it's nice to hear the song again.
My wife says they played this at the skating rink when she was 10yrs old. smh Im 20yrs older than her, the dirtiest song they played at my skating rink was My Sharona.

That's the funniest part of the song. 😂😂
Best song of the 90s and still in 2025!!😂

It wasn't a house party until this jawn was popping and girls grinding on the fellas with EVERYONE holding their red solo in the sky.

Haha one of the homies was in this group, still the closest Hawaii has had to a mainstream rap hit. So good.
It’s that opening “dingalingdingalingringaringadingaling” line.
I just started singing this from out of nowhere while driving to work. Haven’t heard it like 20 something years 😂
So funny. Maybe hearing this once or twice in 1998- I find myself singing this at work, then look it up later on youtube. The human mind remembers the stupidest sh*t.
