People who make jokes about Pashtuns should be reminded that today they are calling themselves modern because the British ruled India for over 190 years and gave them so many benefits like cinema, railway, water dams, bridges, roads, irrigation/agriculture system, English colleges, courts, parliament, printing press, factories trained army ISI/ RAW. Pashtuns are real brave and actual freedom fighters. A couple of so called freedom fighters of India were British education trained politicians. They knew that Hitler broke Great Britain and Britain is having a tough time running India financially and politically so they started " freedom protests" lol. Pathans fought with the British, Russia, and the USA. They skipped British colonization and can't even make true movies and print their side of the history.

Now you took credit of pathans, do you know baba never wants to join Pakistan they want to be a part of independent india. But our government refused his request because between KP region and Bharat there is Swaat region of pak and we don't want to make india into two different pieces like we made pakistan(sorry for 16th of december 1971 we will do it again plan is ready) so Pakistani government arested baba and made all atrocities with him till his death. This is fact which you will never get through any source in Pakistan. Fun fact is Baluchistan also never want to be part of porkistan. Jinha conquered it.Jinha killed Sindh's chief minister elected by election of 1946 know as interim government. Because sindh also never want to be part of porkistan. That all are facts and truths. And world knows: pakistaniyon ka sach se kabhi koi vasta nahi raha hai.
You also should read about major coups and protests against britishers all over India since starting of 18th century. At last Azaad Hind Fauj'd attack on british army and Mutiny of indian nevy all happened in 1943 to 1947 jisne british hukumat ka janaza nikal diya aur tum baat karti ho pashtoons ke contribution ki? Hm indians to balocho aur pathano ko pskistani hi nhi mante. Bhagwan manzoor pashtoon aur baloch freedom fighters ki Pakistani punjabi musalmano se raksha kare. Hamari sarkaar kab in logo ki madat karegi pata nhi hamari soyi hui sarkaar kb jagegi pata nhi pr Khan baba ko hm logo ne vachan diya tha wo hme nibhana hai KP ki azaadi ki tehrik ab shuru ho chuki hai bharat usake bachho ke sath khada hai. Pakistan ke aur chhote chhote tukade karke hi iss khitte me aman aa sakta hai

I'm so happy to hear that Badsha Khan is still considered a hero, a leader and a role model by the Pashtoons and by Manzoor Pashteen.
In India, people of my generation still maintain high love and respect of Badsha Khan, who was very fondly called the Frontier Gandhi. In fact, the costliest market in Delhi (and perhaps in India), Khan Market, is named after him.
Even his son, Khan Abdul Wali Khan, is held in high regard for his courage and principles.

I'm impressed from his humbleness, being a Punjabi and wife of a pashtoon, I understand both Punjabi and pashtoon nation, punjabis are convinced to believe what mainstream media tells them about other nations which is wrong we are diverse country and we shouldn't call someone ghadar if they talk about their rights.
We have many ladies married to pashtoons and are very happy and same pashtoons ladies are married in other parts of Pakistan are also very happy

This was a good step by Syed Muzamil. Pashtuns have the ability to contribute more to the nation's progress. Pushtuns generation, due to lack of education and modernity, are more vulnerable to be used by Militant groups and State alike. If Pushtuns have to move forward they need to rise peacefully, educate theirselves, modernize some of the unpracticeable customs and contribute to the nation's progress.
Everything is ok but about "modernizing unpracticable customs"? Dude we arent like punjabis, lahoris, burgers to forget our culture and claim someone else's culture to make them happy. We pashtuns are happy and proud of our culture. We follow pashtunwali (pashtun code of conduct), there are many nations in the world who despite being advanced follow their customs and culture bcz only modernity doesn't mean progressive,

I'm not a ptm member but I strongly believe discrimination exists few days before a person (student) of dir lower (chakdara) were shot by Punjab police in attak with a freind and one of them were deid at the spot just because they did not stop the car at post and further they did not allow anyone to pick the body for hours..

Punjabis have the power to shoot because they serviced the British for 190 years. British built them railways, factories, water dams, bridges, courts, police station , law colleges, English colleges, cinemas, printing press, Army a ISI/RAW and whatnot. Otherwise, it has no ability to rule and govern. During the last 5000 years of history, Punjabis never produced a leader. Ranjeet Singh took help from the British ( guns, bombs, telescopes, maps, tanks soldiers) to fight regions with sword and stones. British helped them to weaken different kingdoms and When Ranjeet expanded his rented kingdom British took it away from them and took over all India. Punjabis are the reason for the British colonization of South Asia.

@@abdullahgull6092 Taking a last name KHAN doesn't make one pashtun. Ayub Khan , Yahya khan were hindokawan from Hazara and punjabi from Abotabad and Multan. They had no relative dead or alive in KPK or Afghanistan and couldn't speak pashto. You need to use common sense.
