I'm in England and buy my wigs online from Mimo in Scotland. We don't have many wig stores at all in the UK - most wig wearers here are of necessity rather than as a fashion accessory I'd say. Hopefully this will change as more people appreciate the benefits of owning a few great wigs.
Kim and Misty, heat defiant wigs are cool but you're right they don't last as long or tangle quicker but I like the feel of the fibers. Though I think synthetics last longer, the negative about it is they frizz or fry near a oven or if there is steam by the stove. Do you think they'll ever come up with a fiber that can withstand the heat from the oven and last longer than regular synthetics? You ladies are beautiful and your makeup is impeccable. Kim, you look fantastic in every color wig you try on. Just beautiful!
Misty, I just started watching and love your Nola in Dark Chocolate Mix! I was just wondering what style would match Tully's hair from the Netflix show Firefly Lane, and this is close. So cute!
I have two Own the room...the first one is my all time most favorite gorgeous wig...my second came half bald on top...very thin with two of the wefts near the top not sewn in...it was also 2 inches shorter than the first... I was so disappointed I was afraid to order again...but now that you have said that you have never seen a bad one I am more inclined to risk it again...BTW I did not order the wig from you guys...I should have...😢😢
Misty reminds me SO much of "Suzanne Sugarbaker" of "Designing Women" fame. My Late Husband always said the same thing about me. So, of course, "Suzanne" was my favorite character of "Designing Women". Kim is a copy of "Julia Sugarbaker". The NO-NOSENSE" sister. I love BOTH Kim & Misty.
Why, oh, why doesn't Estetica bring the lightest color up into the hairline on their darkly-rooted wigs? Love Chrome RT1B, but can't wear dark knots along the front hairline. Grrr ...
Because then they will overdo it, and it will look like a thick white hair band like Raquel Welch. It will scream "wig." Now, if they mix some light and dark hairs together, it will look good. ❤
