The old school way to find local repeaters is to scan the band and hopefully you catch an ID or some activities.

Good idea. That I didn't try. But meanwhile I managed to change my phone number to some other network and I finally have internet. No too fast, but its better than nothing. 😅

It reminds me of the simplicity of the Baofeng, except that this one is WAY better 😃😃😃. 73 my friend.

@matthewt-ty33 I never had that one. I like it because it's really simple a kind of straight to the point. Easy to set up and use. And the most is that it actually has the power as per the technical description and on harmonics suppression it's perfect.

21:04 Surely, if you ask the bear nicely? 😮
If you program in Chanel mode surely it will stay the same. Try program in frequency mode and see if it changes.

I must ask the bear haha. I managed to change phone numbers. Using another network now and I finally have internet. Not too good but its better than nothing. You are right... let me try programing it in frequency mode. That may be the issue. 73 Nigel and greetings from Cioclovina.
P.S. it only took me two days to upload this video 😅

Bonjour, avez vous réussi a régler le step? Si oui comment avez vous fait car je suis moi même bloquée.

Not really. I emailed Retevis and this is what I received back:
Engineer response:“The step value cannot be changed in channel mode. After setting the step value, you need to adjust the frequency under VFO. Short press # to switch between VFO and channel mode”

@marinonijessy3436 Merci beaucoup. J'ai également demandé s'ils pouvaient résoudre ce problème dans une future mise à jour du firmware, mais c'était malheureusement la seule réponse que j'ai reçue. 73, YO6DXE
