Totally love this song and its heavy synth beat, but more-so because of the lyrics. They sum up succinctly but lovingly how many relationships are. When you've been together with someone and still can't wait to see them each day, it says so much. "I Can't Wait" still stands the test of time in my books. Brilliant track.

The 80s was the best decade for music in all genres: pop, rock, rap, country, R&B. The 80s produced more hits and classics than any other decade. Even More than the disco era of the 70s. 😊
@@matthewbanton7077 - obviously you are not a fan of rap or rock to not appreciate the classics that were created during that decade. The songs of that decade are the most used in commercials, movie soundtracks, music compilations and the most remade songs of any era. You might not like the rock and rap classics from that decade but you absolutely recognize them when you hear them today.
@@quinndeskimo4132 I’m a massive fan of rap and am in multiple rock bands lol, it’s just the 60s, 70s, 90s, 00s and 10s all were much better decades for rock and the last three were for rap as well
@@matthewbanton7077 - I find it hard to believe that a massive fan of rap would consider today’s rap as better than 80s rap. Unless he was born after 1995, which would explain why he doesn’t like 80s rap. It’s just a difference in generational tastes in music. I would guess that the reason why you don’t like 80s rock is because of the image of rock artists during that era. The makeup and the tight clothes and the big hair and even earrings. The image of rock artists wasn’t very masculine during that era. But the music was good.

When you've been together with someone and still can't wait to see them each day, it says so much. "I Can't Wait" still stands the test of time in my books. Brilliant track.
My 20yo step son brought up this band and had to listen to this song. One of my all time fav songs from the 80's 🥰
@@ericb414 It's a pretty awesome sound! I also love Point Of No Return🙂
And she and her husband at the time this song came out are still together, and I bet they still can't wait until the next time they see each other every day.

The 80s was the best decade for music in all genres: pop, rock, rap, country, R&B. The 80s produced more hits and classics than any other decade. Even
More than the disco era of the 70s. 😊
it was arguably the worst decade for both rock and rap but was absolutely the best for pop
I'm 51 now and still loving my 80s tunes. If you're here in 2023 listening to this, you are awesome!! The best music came out in the 1980s!
