- September 2021 - Covid19 is finally spiraling down, and the world can begin to breathe again.
At this point Didi and I had been feeling the need to scratch our, ever-pulsating adventure-itch for way too long. But now, it’s finally time.
4.49AM - rise and shine. We’re leaving Copenhagen, Gravel Bikes packed thoroughly in boxes and a scarce selection of day-to-day items in the pannier bags.
As we touch down in Rome - three thoughts are on our minds: Will the bikes arrive, will they be intact, and will we actually be able to ride them all the way to Venice?

Excellent - we can only manage Copenhagen to Ijmuiden this summer - but we will have two teenagers with us....

Sounds like a great trip you've got planned - what is happening in Ijmuiden? We'll be riding from the Arctic Circle to Ushuaia in Argentina in a month - on the way - we'll be passing Ijmuiden - do you think we should spend some time there?
@@DidiandHenry - We live in the Highlands of Scotland so the car is left in Newcastle so we can wheel onto the ferry to Mainland Europe to start our tours. Otherwise we have a long trek down to the South coast of the UK - somewhere we try to avoid (like the plague!)
Nice! About to cycle from London to Sicily with my partner, can't wait to get out on the road and would love to make content half as good as this! Keep it up :-)
