{school project animation} Kinesiology for Animators | grade 12 kinesiology

this was my final culminating project for grade 12 kinesiology back in june! I challenge you all to sit through the whole thing, normal speed, no skipping //i hid some good (bad) memes here and there :))
for this assignment, we just had to relate all the units from the course to some kind of real-world application... The original project was a case study presentation, but that's pretty boring and I was given permission to relate kinesiology to animation (because;;; that's the only reason I took kin :')))
a huge huge thank you to my teacher for being so understandable and flexible with the project! I left kin without regrets thanks to her ;O;; and thank you to my classmates for sitting through the longer version of this video and for enjoying it :) thank you as well to my friend who was the school's softball captain for a good while! She helped me get through kin and allowed me to film her practice :0 she also proof-read my work and gave me critiques on my drawings of softball poses! (she didn't want her name to be revealed so it's covered in mangoes in the credits, but if you know her, then you know her, the real mvp)
overall, you can tell I didn't put as much effort into this like my other projects that I post;; but i'm still happy with how it came out despite my lame doodles ;v;;; I ended up getting full marks on this project but what really touched my heart were my teacher's comments on the rubric asdfjkl; what a blessing :'O a few things I learned from making this were never underestimate how long bones and muscles take to draw... and that I've been pronouncing some of these muscle names wrong this entire time;;;; My goal this summer is to memorize more muscle names along with their functions, origins and insertions :')
please note i'm just a student and my anatomical drawings are not accurate and if you notice any mistakes anywhere, shhh it's ok because my teacher didn't notice and that's all that matters :) (the drawings are there to distract you from my mistakes)

This is honestly amazing. I want to study it now :D! I’ve been considering what to take to study Kinesiology (I’m in Grade 10 and am doing prerequisites for Kinesiology) since I want to work in the animation field. This helps a ton! TYSM 😁
Thank you and glad it helps! I would recommend double checking your school's kin curriculum because kin is one of those courses where the teacher has more flexibility. I know a few classmates who suffered in kin last year because the teacher was very hard on them and had them memorize a lot of things that would later be useless for animation. The anatomy unit was the only unit that was directly relatable to Sheridan's curriculum, but you would learn a lot more if you could eventually draw and understand the function of each muscle (which we didn't learn in kin). If my teacher wasn't so flexible with the final assignment (what I made this video for), I wouldn't have learned as much (since I had to draw all the muscles, teach myself how muscles work together, and relate every unit to animation so I can validate all those hours spent on kin homework even when I'm going into animation haha).
