Alucard's voice actor just has an amazingly powerful voice, and he fits the character of Alucard perfectly! I do not own Hellsing or Alucard, though I wish I did. Comment, rate, and enjoy!
Part of me wants to think Alucard didn't use any vampiric charm or anything, he just looked deep at him, spoke all sexy, and the guy just listened.

Alucard's mind control always made me wonder, what if he had used it on Pip and the rest of Wild Geese? Just go out of your way and tell them to perform the best they can in next fight. How much would it have boosted the performance? Can it force a person past safeguards of human body(we're usually limited below 40% of muscle output to not rip ourselves to pieces for example) or ignore pain and shock just to follow the command? Will it be the same as berserk rage?
I wonder if he could have used in on Sera's and forced her to consume blood way earlier

@@lowhp_comic it seems that going through changes and accepting them was a part of the process of becoming a vampire, so maybe Alucard just wanted to do it properly, letting the process go naturally.

This is a year old comment but ill reply anyway, and the answer is yes. You already see it happen (kind of) when Alucard mind controls one of the special forces members in the elevator that still tries to crawl towards him in awe after getting an entire SMG magazine into his stomach

I watch subs too, but holy crap could people be absolute royal prìcks about their preferences. I think Crispin Freeman was a good Alucard and followed Nakata's version pretty well. I don't deny having the feeling of favorism among certain things that happens to be the first I came by, but I am understanding enough of my own psyche to know when I get that feeling and not mix that up with objective analysis of whatever I come across. Some movies I love are pretty bad movies, but I subjectively like them. At those times, I don't try to defend them as good movies, I just defend the fact that they are very fun to watch for various reasons or personal reasons.

For you perhaps. I find a lot of things to love in small details, things I want to investigate closely, so I skip back, watch it a couple times before going back and just letting it play. If anything I feel more immersed. After all, some movies use different kinds of tricks like slow motion or rewind or fast forward throughout certain shots, and it's all part of the experience then. Giving that power to a viewer doesn't need to break the immersion. At least not for the one that holds the control

Jouji Nakata's voice makes my heart melt, and I'm not even attracted to Alucard (Is an Integra, Walter, and Zorin fangirl). Man, it's time like these that I think to Crispin Freeman...And I shudder in revulsion.
I feel like the only person in existence that thinks the man tries WAY too hard to do what comes naturally to Nakata-Sensei.
Although, I WILL admit that the bomb scene with Reno and Rude in Advent Children was wonderful and is probably the only time in the history of ever that I think he did a good job in ANY capacity.
