I composed "Wellspring" during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. It provided my soul with much peace and helped me learn more of God’s grace. Late in 2020, my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and this piece provided an even greater comfort to my heart. This video is dedicated to the loving memory of my father, David Messick (August 7, 1949 - July 2, 2021).

I am so sorry you lost your dad last year to Pancreatic Cancer. My mom was diagnosed with it too, early 2020. Music comforted her. I prayed that God would walk my mom Gently into Heaven and He did. Think of the wonderful and joyful times with your dad and I pray that it will bring you joy and peace.

That's beautiful, extremely calming and soul-touching. God certainly was with you and working through you in the song's composition. I understand your loss, having lost my own dad to cancer in 1996 when he was almost 62-years-old. I too found music to be a great comfort and along with my faith in Christ I was able, eventually, to come to terms with my loss. We found out in April that our 10 yr old dachshund Fern has congestive heart failure so there have been many tears .
How wonderful to hear Y'all are coming back ,,,it gives me something to look forward to. Every little tidbit of joy is welcome and needed when the world seems to have lost its collective mind ! ! !
