So good! Faith, Seventeen Seconds and Pornography are still my favorite eras of the mighty Cure... Drowning Man and All Cats are Grey never get old. Youve nailed Cocteau Twins and Cure, great listening with you taking the lead on bass!
Aww! I saw It! I'm really looking forward to get one Yamaha bbp or similar, do you think It worth the price? The tone suonds great, best choice between p and j basses.
@@matteomingozzi4496 it blows away all the fenders I had. Sustain and punch are always there. You may not like the tone knob because it is not very apparent, what it does, but I like fine adjustments so no problem for me. I would say that construction wise is a high class instrument. Buy it
Fantastic! Any chance to listen to Atmosphere from Joy Division one day? And some from Depeche Mode maybe... Cure, JD, The Sound and DM my favorite bands, in any case great choices for covers.
@@ioannist.5568 Awesome, you even reply in a short time eheh! Just listening all other covers atm, I have some very cool and chill time atm, and damn you nailed almost everything I heard until now... Concerning songs, well: The Sound - Counting the days DM - Useless, Walking in my shoes, Only when I lose myself, In your room JD - Atmosphere The Cure - Prayers for rain, The same deep water as you (I even did a cover with trackers), Close to me, Fascination Street, M, At Night, Three Imaginary Boys, A Forest, Boys don't cry Goblin - Meat Puppet
@@ozymandias81_666 Useless is a great song.Ultra might have been an inspiration for paradise lost's album Believe in nothing. The bass line reminds me indeed the song "no reason"
@@ioannist.5568 Must listen to Paradise Lost yet, but I am sure it's almost as you said! Btw I am also sure that you will enjoy Goblin's Meat Puppet, the bass there rocks a lot... I might also suggest Radiohead, another top notch band for me, mostly Ok Computer and previous era Gonna listen some Paradise Lost now, will tell you later if mood is similar also for me
You are right, but No Reason also have lots of Marylin Manson and NiN tbh, a couple of tabs sure are very similar specially first 5-6 notes which are repeated since the opening... That could work to find the right mood for your bass as a start for sure, and why not even to think about work over MM and NiN songs too eheh Quality stuff man, you doing great!
