Even though her Gimmick is A Silent and Menacing Psychopath, She's actually one of the Nicest women I've ever met. It's great how every Japanese wrestler on the roster right now has their own unique theme and character. Unlike in the past with WWE, every Japanese guy had a similar generic japanese tune and stereotypical gimmicks for the most part.

For those still claiming that Asuka has been irreversibly ruined by WWE, let me just point this out: since winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, Asuka has made Charlotte tap out (relatively) clean, pinned double-champion Bayley, and by Extreme Rules will have scored another pinfall win over Sasha Banks as well. She also basically got the endorsement of Becky Lynch, the top female Superstar Asuka has defeated multiple times before. Real-life injuries and a pregnancy notwithstanding, in a span of two months, Asuka has conquered the Four Horsewomen of WWE, the ONLY one to do so. It may not be the same aura of dominance before ... because it is a more mature, rebuilt, and refined aura of dominance that Asuka now has. Respect the Empress.
I'm just waiting for the day she brings back her old Kana Clown gimmick. If she goes heel - which I can imagine could happen soon as she's technically lost everything (Kairi as a partner and the RAW title). Though it would probably be better to have all that with a crowd, so I'd wait till then to pull it off.

There aren't very many tunes that I crank up in the car every time I turn it on, but this is one of them.
Even when I first heard this theme in her NXT TakeOver debut match V Emma, you KNEW someone was going to get an ass whoopin' and she's kept that same level of intensity up to this very day. She is the BEST wrestler EVER amongst all women in WWE. Including the past and present.

You know, the more I watch Asuka’s work in ring, the more impressed I am with her. Her being undefeated makes me think something really special and revolutionary can take place sometime down the line. I’m convinced she can hang with the best of ‘em, including the guys. I know it’s a long shot and the chances of it happening are very miniscule, but what if WWE decides to do the unthinkable and strap that proverbial rocketship to her ass and put her in the hunt for the NXT Championship...and eventually capture it?
Yes, yes, I know, sounds crazy, but consider this; The NXT title is by no means on the same level as a world title. It’s the top prize in NXT, sure, but it’s used for developmental purposes. NXT is not the same stage the main roster performs on. It’s a stage used to pave the way for a superstar’s future. If WWE wants to take a huge risk like this and don’t want to gamble on doing this kind of revolutionary angle on RAW or Smackdown, NXT is the place to do it. The opportunity for a very compelling and unique story is there for this. It’ll give NXT a huge amount of intrigue, something people will be talking about for months, years even if WWE plays their cards right if they go this route.
Now I’m not saying have her become champion in the first match she has for the belt, HELL NO! I don’t even think she should become number one contender right off the bat either, that should be earned of course by having her put her undefeated streak on the line against the male competitors.
Now if this does happen I don’t believe it’ll be a sure fire guarantee she’ll hold the World/Universal title. That would DEFINITELY just be wishful thinking. But right now, we’re in an era where wrestling is constantly evolving. This stigma of women being seen as inferior to men and being unable to claim the top prize because of it needs to be broken eventually. Why not now? Why not have NXT do the impossible and have their brand be represented by their first ever female NXT champion? The future is now. She has all the potential to be a trailblazer just like Chyna was (RIP). Have her make history and prove the nay-sayers wrong.

To get slightly personal, I'm an aspiring professional wrestler, and I'm also female. I've always wanted to see intergender wrestling become a thing, while I love the women's roster and those on it, my favorite wrestlers are mostly on the male counterpart. So if intergender wrestling where to happen then if/when I make it to the WWE and become a part of the roster I would be able to go up against all the amazing male and female wrestlers. Might have been a slightly long winded way of saying it, but screw it, TLDR: I want that to happen too, would be cool.

I have just seen her at a house show. She is extremely impressive and worked very hard to let her opponent look strong. However, she is from the style in ring very similar to Nakamura but with less swag.
