- A long awaited swell arrives in southern Baja and we happen to be in the right place, at the right time for it. But before we head out for a few days of incredible waves, we sit still near the southern cape where we pay witness to the Humpback Whale migration. It was truly something to behold. When we do finally make our way over to waves, we are joined by some unexpected good friends!

Great shots of the whales. We were there last spring and had some of the same experiences. Even hung out with that same sweet dog at camp.

If you have a 2 way valve and you are experienced... why would you not dive with the snorkel in your mouth at those depths? What is your protocol and why?
I'm sure surfing with friends was great, but the sights and sounds of the humpbacks' looked beyond real. What a special moment.

We spent a couple hours on a boat in Juneau to see humpback whales and you experienced them in “your own back yard”! How incredible is that!
dont drive on the beach there are turtle nests! especially in that area of the east cape.there are designated parking areas
