Here is my theory: flood escape 1 is that we are in a facility but something goes wrong and everything starts to flood. Then we escape the flood and then we went to flood escape 2, the world is starting to flood and we are going to different places to escape this infinite flood and find a way to stop it.
Most of the maps are linking to a story of FE1, like fimiliar ruins and beneath the ruins is the lobby of FE1 on how it was destroyed
Story is good tbh with most of the maps

first version of abandoned facility is better in my opinion, because of it's dark lighting, it really gives a meaning on "abandoned facility"

I like how in the revamped sinking ship the evacuation text changed depending on the color of the water
I love the old-school style music of the abandoned facility
I think infiltration was done very nicely, the middle part through the vents might be confusing for new players, but it should definitely be a official fe2 map
Cave system was very dark, with almost no lights at all, and the last part was very awkwardly done. Manipulating the players camera in a dark room isn't a very good idea, so in my opinion cave system isn't great.
Autumn Hideway was a "eh". The layout was a bit confusing and the acid that looks like grass should be retextured. The lava rises a bit faster than it should for a hard level(which is prob why it got removed in the first place). The map is pretty open, leading to players going the wrong way, there were also no arrows or directions whatsoever, so the revamp could be improved on a lot.
Axiom was very, very nicely done. It's pleasing to look at, and it's very well lit, but not to the point of that we can't see. If Axiom was to be extended, it deserves a spot as an official fe2 map.
Abandoned Facility was a good revamp overall. The vents were lighted up for you to see, and there were no confusing turns expect of course the 3rd button. The revamp was great overall, but I can see improvements.
Sinking ship's revamp is great. The main chamber can only be accessed by one path, so there wont be 7 people waiting at the other door while the last team button isn't pushed. The main chamber was remodelled nicely, apart from lack of lighting(which isn't a problem because it fits the theme) I would say Sinking Ship is a solid revamp.
*This is all my opinion, feel free to disagree, but this is my review on the revamps.*

(Coming from one of the creators) Yes, I can agree that autumn hideaway redo is... questionable in layout. To be honest, I don't like it much myself, but i moreso helped with some of the decoration rather than the gameplay

Ahhh i rly miss this map called autumn hideaway i remember playing this map on 2018 and 2019 but it got deleted for no reason :(
It actually was deleted for a reason. The creator of AH harrased some defenseless child, so their current map (and all other maps made by the same person) will NOT be accepted into the game.
after it got removed, crazyblox announced that he might remake autumn hideaway, turns out it’s still unknown

axiom: i can say this is the greatest revamp in this list, but the difference between the revamp and original is this revamp is white

abandoned facility: this is 2nd greatest revamp, better lighting and also has a light to indicate where to go, just going to get confused in 3rd button in the underwater section
sinking ship: i think this revamp does focus more on no laziness. since only 1 path, it allows people to get buttons if someone fell and yeah, overall good except for the last room in the 2nd last button cause I don't want to push boxes so yeah

best ones are last two. Abandoned facility remake feels the same, its just the enhanced version of the map, sinking ship looks cool but loses its pasing on chase section.

Try add dark sci forest and facility together they’ll make a true storyline and Poisonous chasm and valley they made a true storyline too.
