Gosh! it’s so easy to get scammed in Canada especially if you’re naive. One thing my mother always tells me is that the police will not give you a call if they need to arrest you…they’ll show up at your doorstep! Saved me a couple hundred times from getting scammed. I’m so glad you were able to pick yourself up again ! 💞

I get these calls atleast once weekly and thankfully I got the heads up when I relocated to Canada to never give out any details over the phone, if it's genuine they will definitely find a way to reach out to you. Once I hear the automated message I end the call.
The words towards the ending was encouraging, I've been scammed severally, like the lessons have been alot but this same words console me. I pray that we never go through this stuff in Jesus name. Amen And to all that have been scammed, many more money coming, and we won't be scammed of the money.
So mine happened sometime in April. Everything they did to you, an automated machine, press one to speak to an agent , case file number, police monitoring me etc. They called me that my NI number was being delayed cos my account was used to launder more than 50k pounds. It felt so real and my luck was the fact I was on the road so I couldn’t call out my account number and sort code. How they use what you are expecting seems really suspicious!
OMG, I got the same call last week, bcos I was expecting a parcel from fashion nova. Immediately I heard the Agent name and voice (Indian accent) I cut the call straight away. The police should come and find me in my house if I did any wrong and I prefer to loose the parcel than pay money for anything. Sorry girl, I feel ur pain. Loosing money that you sweat for is so painful.

That’s the same thing I was told till my Bank saved me from being scammed. They asked me why I was withdrawing and I told them. The woman that wanted to dupe me cut the call when she realized I told my Bank. After they advised me, I left. They are very manipulative.
They do this same scam in other countries, almost happened to me in the uk, but luckily I didn’t have any money to scam me off as a student😂, pele dear it is well, hope you’ve recovered well

He later revealed himself, this guy was in Nigeria, nassarawa ... Can you imagine 😅
