ভীষণ ই আশাহত.....
কত দিন অপেক্ষার ফল এ হবে ভাবিনি,
সৌম্যজিৎ তুমি আমাকে অপেক্ষা করতে বলেছিলে, কিন্তু আমি খুশী হতে পারলাম না।
সমস্ত সময়টা শুধু music শুনলাম,music এর experiment শুনলাম, কোথাও রাধারানীর 'যাতনা' অনুভব করলাম না,কোথাও রাধারানীর ব্যাকুলতা অনুভব করলাম না। না ই বা কোথাও চোখের কোণ ভিজে ভিজে হ'ল।
শুধু কিছু সর্ব ভারতীয় সুরেলা কন্ঠস্বর শুনলাম। কিশোর ভানুসিংহ যে উদ্বেগ, যে ব্যাকুলতা, যে যাতনা অঙ্কন করেছিলেন তা গৌণ হয়ে গেল।

Kavita Krishnamurthy is my all time favourite and truly she has done justice with the songs.. although Hariharan is an excellent singer but disappointed singing gahan kusuma ..Sajni Sajni duet is excellent.. overall beautiful audio..

Rabindrasangeet is on the utmost perfection as Gurudev composed. Songs in Bhanusingher padabali could have been better if these were sung only by Pramita Mallick and Soumyajit. Their melodious voices are more than refreshing.
Rabindrananth Tagore wrote this songs at the age of sixteen

Excellent presentation
Gahana Kusuma with Hariharan disappoints completely both for weak voice and bad music. Sajani Sajani is so refreshing for the melodious voice of Kavita, additional music takes backstage .Soumyajit is excellent with Sunala Sunala .Shangana Gagane is the best of the songs, music somewhat blends with melodious voice of Soumyajit. Pramita Mallika has a voice suitable for Rabindra Sangeet . This record is a win due to many good voices that has mostly nullified effect of unnecessary additional music.
Ranjan Kar south indians cannot come out carnatic tone .. they try to frame everything in their carnatic connotation which is NOT possible . Tagore was influenced by western classical Brij music that flows in north Brajabhumi and Manipuri

@@tamals22 Don't forget Kavita Krishnamurti is from South India, and one of the nicest Rabindra-sangeet singer.
However, Rabindra-sangeet is not everyone's cup of tea... Nowadays everybody gives it a "try".... Which is disappointing. Hariharan completely destroyed the essence of the song!
