Snipers are really not used in r6 because there really is no point of having a slow but powerful weapon when a single shot to the head kills and having a fast-firing smg gives better chances of a headshot.
I think him having the 1x scope is pretty useful, because it can make him take close range gunfights better. Along with the attachment, it allows him to take both close range and long range gunfights, whatever works. Removing that functionality from him would remove some of his versatility IMO.

I think this video was great but you definitely missed a few things. Kali also has thatchers pistol for starters. And as per glaz you didn’t mention much for smoke plant plays, and with his counters being aruni, jager, Wamai. You didn’t really do the simple solution which is not throwing the smokes inside. Lastly I think sens should’ve had a small mention in this video just because of how well sens and glaz compliment each other. Edit: I myself am a glaz main so I really hope this feedback makes sense!!

Tbh that's true always when I run smokes on glaz I never throw them inside it's always on top of me but I also don't run smokes on glad as Nadeau are far superior
And the fact that glaz has way more chances to win a 1v1 against warden because glaz is slready peeking the smoke while warden has to stay still for a few seconds before he can see throught it
One thing Kali suffers from is being forced to use either x8 or x12 scope with the rifle meanwhile in another Ubisoft game you can change scopes on bolt action rifles from x1 to x15. Glaz still has problems with his OST, they should have done the automatic version and the soft breaching of it is worse than the 417 or CAMRS despite being 2 more damage per shot plus small magazine size.
As a glaz main, i think you are underselling just how good his gadget is. Being able to react super quickly to the bright yellow glowing enemies means you can actually play as an entry Fragger.
Here are my ideas to make her both stronger and more fun to play. You could realistically choose only a few of these changes, but even all of them together still wouldn't make Kali worth picking IMO. First, do NOT give her a new primary. Her sniper is her gimmick, leave it that way. However... 1. Give her the SMG11 or Bearing 9 as a secondary. The MP9 is cool, but she needs a close/medium range option. 2. Make her lances mag-fed, and make the swap between gadget and primary firing mode MUCH faster. Just a QOL thing that will allow her to get more aggro since she could realistically destroy util and immediately follow it up with a push. Would be a fun way to get aggressive with the sniper on site executes. 3. This is an Idea I had that might be stupid, but it'd be cool to playtest. Make her lances deal explosive damage. Not with the range/damage of a nade, but more than they have now. Also allow them to embed in a defender, so any defender hit will be automatically downed regardless of health amount after a few moments. Would be a cool counterplay to beefy boys, and could have some crazy clips of Rooks getting embedded and then frantically looking for a headshot before they explode. Plus the lance is a projectile so it would be a crazy skill shot. Just some dumb fun. 4. Make the lances give enough soft destruction for a vault hole. Similar in size to the can openers. Nuff said. 5. I don't think they should give her smokes or nades, but flashes might be cool if you go with my #2 changes since we would get some MW2-esque aggro quickscoping montages. You could also give her smokes, and a secondary shotgun and make her a utility queen. I don't like this idea, but my friends all think this is the direction Ubi should go. I just like the run and gun sniper rifle concept. It would be really hard but rewarding when it actually works.

If you could get rid of the scope on Kali’s sniper then you would be able to quick scope faster and it would more useful closer up. As a person who sometimes uses Kali in unranked the most USELESS ability is the 12x scope in. I have never used this thing and the bulky scope makes it annoying to capitalize on the high damage because im scoped in 30x times the the moon.
To make kali more viable I'd add a secondary mod for her gadget. Add the possibility to switch between making her lance explode on impact to make bigger holes or make her lances through walls. Just like the last grim rework. She will gain a ton of utility and her gadget would be far more potent.

Make her ability non friendly fire so that she can be a better hard breach support. 4. Buff the ADS speed of her sniper. Yes I agree, this is gonna bring cod esque playstyles.. but maybe that actually is the right move for her. The main problem for her being worse than otter ops is the general game design. The one hit headshot and the mainly CQC playstyle is not good for a sniper. But making quickscoping a viable skill for her playstyle would mean she is more viable in QCQ, so maybe that is what she needs?
Giving her a totally serviceable primary weapon as her secondary is possibly the worst thing you could do to try and make her more viable. Giving her a better/more synergistic gadget would be a way better choice. I don't even think she's that bad in the hands of someone who's a good shot. Most people aren't that though. Hell if it were up to me I'd let her 1 shot anything but a 3 health with a rook plate. But then I grew up playing CS so I've got no issue with the idea of learning how to play around one player with an AWP by means other than trying to face check them with an smg and a 1x sight. Could always slow her down a bit or slow her bolt cycle speed to offset it a bit more. 🤷♀️

Also I have some ideas for your videos, what about a video going through what operators to ban on each map, outside of the most common ones (Jackal/Valkyrie/etc...)? Or some niche strats for certain bombsites you like to do with some non-meta operators (not hard/soft breach). I'm just tired of randoms crying over some uncommon bans (or operator picks), for example I like to ban Nomad and Mute or Mozzie on Kanal and Coastline because I think it really affects the gameplay and people think I'm throwing. :D Just some thoughts :)

Trust me buddy It has failed More than once to take down a Kaid Electro claw.. It works against Bandit and mute or for deployable shields but, you can't open big holes in unreinforced walls and her blast radious Is smaller compared to Ash or Zofia.

Run outs really as he said since the laser they deploy they are super bad at flank watch and they can deny window run-outs very easily as it's harder to tell if there's a claymore unless you're Solis but still I can't remember the last time I've died to a claymore
@@ireallydontknow278you'd really be surprised how easy it is to put them in spots where people are not going to see a laser before it gets them. Having an understanding of where enemies will be looking and where they probably won't gets you way more mileage out of every trap in the game. If the most use someone can come up with is sticking a trap under a window then they need to get more creative.
How is Kali loadout 3/10 but Glaz loadout 9/10? Both have a sniper for primary and a machine pistol for secondary... Glaz only has Gonne-6 that Kali doesn't have.

Right. I think she can use the flash bangs to get people to reposition where she needs them to be. Also having the ability to 1 shot kill through walls also compliments the gadget. She can work pretty well but needs the right loadout to do it. I’ve been offering up the idea on how to handle her primary situation similar to how they handled tachanka. Signature weapon with generally better utility while also having a primary that is generally ok. Either a DMR or a limited AR like the ARX-200. Having the lance on that weapon.
Kali is weak and annoying, both at the same time. There is really no place for a one shot sniper that although is weak, can really be annoying at times.
I'm new to siege, I play Kali purely because I played CS:GO. having an AWP with a CZ in a game like siege is broken. just peak a corner and quickscope them.
as he says there is MANY flaws with her. her vertical play sucks. however she is still pretty versatile if you can use her gun, just use it like a ranged shotgun. it can one hit anything. works wonders when peaking on a repel or peaking a corner, aswell as holding off areas of a map.

Tbh unless you have a stack with a Strat for glaz, I think he’s best used for entry. With the 3 speed, no recoil, high damage, bearing 9, and nades.

Kali is all about putting pressure on the enemy and being a support role. It's not supposed to be rushing in and being close range
