@@maggieattenborrow6725 It kinda sounds like being mixed race has always been a problem for her and she brought that baggage with her to the palace. It seemed a lot of people were extremely happy to welcome her to the Royal Family, including the future King who walked her most of the way down the aisle. I have no doubt she may have had to field a few racists or awkward comments in England, but she should never have labelled an entire family, country or commonweath nations who where gracious and embracing because of the few. I wish she had stuck it out in service to people and become an example of duty and strength rather than ducking out to simple self-serving.

Dan, as a biracial Australian woman who originally supported Meghan and Harry, I’m glad you called them out for their short-sighted, self-limiting and self-focused ignorant attitudes and choices. Their families must be reeling with a sense of betrayal, hurt and outrage. To think that Meghan and Harry created this, thinking that the late Queen would be ok with it. It goes to show how completely out of touch they are. They are overdue for a serious wake up call and accounting for their cruel and heartless words and actions.

As a woman with a similar racial background to MM, this whole thing makes me absolutely sick. Yes, when I was growing up back in the 70s and 80s (I'm Australian) things were different and I did experience a few issues...
But things have changed so much and society has definitely moved on. It is utter rubbish pedaled by people/media who have no first hand knowledge of what it is actually going on. In my recent adult life, people might query my background out of a genuine interest, not any racial animosity.

I moved from England to Australia as my husband is Australian. Britain is not racist. There’s no room at all for racism. I suppose you might still have racist people there. But, I have never met any. People are concerned about immigration, illegal immigrants, but not because of race, it’s because they’re running out of room and the tax payers are paying so much to house the immigrants.

I watched the docuseries this morning and could not believe how Meghan mocked meeting the Queen for the first time. I mean, I was completely blown away! Was she trying to intimate that William and Catherine were not in love. Totally ridiculous. William waited a long time to ask Catherine and have proved to be very happy together with a lovely family. They are bringing their children up in a more modern way than their generation was and they are a real credit to the Royal family. It was very clear to see the family at the queen's jubilee were a truly integrated family. No photo shopping or posing needed, just real people in a real situation acting completely naturally.

A really disgraceful Harry who could have receive a large inheritance from the Queen if he did not prove to her that he is a disloyal prince.
