Hello Dear!
Thank you for your comment, I wrote this song for my dance group back in the 80's. I inspired myself on the story or legend of Point Tataa and the rock of life and death which is still situated on the hill down to this day.
This Gateway point is where the Tahitians believe their spirits would leave from this hill, to travel like a bird to Raiatea. On mt Temehani in Raiatea was 'Te Po' or darkness on one side, and there is Rohotu Noanoa on the otherside, like a paradise: waters run crystel clear and shine like diamonds, sunsets are the color of gold, no sickness and fishing was effertless as you cast your fishnet for a plentiful catch....
