    Player: Heroes of Xanadu - Contra III is a game that represents all that is good about the series, standing above everything around it with confidence. It's an original, polished and very well made title that deserves respect. You'll find replayability within the game's obvious premise, and playing with a friend is twice as fun.

    Contra III: The Alien Wars, released in Japan as Contra Spirits (魂斗羅スピリッツ Kontora Supirittsu?) and in the PAL region as Super Probotector: Alien Rebels, is a 1992 run and gun game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System produced by Konami.
