- So in this video I'm going to try the revamped Lesley for the second time here on advance server
Why the second time?
Well, they made another drastic change on her skill specifically her passive
If you don't know yet, her enhanced basic attack can now deal true damage if it's a critical strike

Ehh I think present Lesley has better DPS than revamp Lesley. Relying too much on passive makes her too shoot more to kill. At least at present I can consistently hit 2-3 hits before reposition using 1st skill. With combo I can half HP enemy tank much less other heroes.

I think they ramped up Lesley's difficulty a bit. You now need to time your attacks properly in order to take advantage of her new paasive and freehitting may not be a viable option now since her true damage does require some time to recharge. Also, it seems like she's now more geared towards taking on fighters instead of squishy heroes due to the adjustments on her skills and passive.
Nah squishy people also in danger, I passive almost took 1-4th of kimmy's health. So what you can do is shoot your passive, then skill 1 and reposition then shoot. You can be very annoying if you know when to fight your fights
Remember wind of nature won't work against her passive

Ngl, I feel like people are over exaggerating her passive. Yes, her passive change is somewhat crazy but they seem to forget they nerfed her other stats to balance her out. Even official server lesley have higher poke than this.

She is still weak at early as true damage in early is the same as just physical damage or magic dmaage in early. That true damage will show its importance in mid to late game.

yes, her passive in the original server can 1-2 hit squishes but completely useless against tanks, now she can't burst down squishes but can deal with tanks. If you are playing lesley as an assassin then it's a loss, The new lesley now seems like a classic marksman.
then later people will be raging because of her insane damage like wtf 3k true damage + insanely low cooldown of first skill do you think any hero can fight that?

instead of malefic roar, buy hunter strike instead for cd reduction and movement speed. cd reduction to reduce her skill 1 and skill 3 cooldown and movement speed to complement her hit and run style (the pen is a bonus too)
i feel like they need to adjust her passive a little make it weaker and add a little hp based damage because I don't want to go marksman or mage and got 2 hits with this sexy girl. With this adjustment she wont easily burst squishy heroes but her true damage would still work in bursting tanky heroes

You forgot endless battle the cdr helps and the passive also gives extra true damage berserkers fury should always be first item

I think the revamp with her relying on her passive is the way she should be played. She's a assassin/mm so hit and runs definitely should fit her style now. Maybe I'll start playing her again soon.
This is an adjustment I've been looking forward to but I still find it idk maybe odd how they are pointing lesley towards a build/kit that is focused on penetration through her criticals and away from attack speed builds (since she's a sniper) but majority of the critical stats are still locked behind attack speed items. I think the best case for lesley, although is very unlikely, is for a new item solely focused on critical stat (other than berserker's) is added, similar to Aulus with his War Axe. Just my thoughts.
As a Lesley user since her first release, she's now becoming more of an assassin than a marksman. Good revamp.
Now thats alot more balanced than having to literally see a Critical Strike True Dmg xD this change makes so much sense on lesley and finally makes her rifle feel like a true sniper rifle that can penetrate thru armor, instead of some funny looking rapid-shooting sniper rifle with crit speed build xD
With these changes she dont have to worry about not poking the tanks too cuz she now deals true dmg so she can poke everyone as much as she like as a true sniper. She’ll finally compete against beatrix on who’s the true sniper now xD
Now she's actually a real sniper.

They need to increase the damage boost on her skill and her crit damage by a little bit, and she’ll be very solid. It’s nice that you don’t have to worry about penetration, but other characters still do more for less effort.

Ture they lowered her crit damge too much atried her and the most i can deal is 2.7k dmage to tank
She doesn't benefit off of Attack speed so much, so I'd probably focus rather more on items with normal physical penetration for better critical conversion, as well as maybe the boots for cooldown so she can spam her skills more sooner.. Problem with that is energy usage.
i like how she relies on her passive as if she needs to reload her sniper to shot
As a Lesley main I like her as she is rn, I can basically solo carry an average team with her, she’s like a variation of Layla.

That is how Lesley mains play her in her old version(crit Lesley). She can deal much more before, she can instantly deal 3/4 of your full HP.
I like the new Lesley! 2nd skill is finally more usable due to longer range. Attractive looks and voice lines too! It feels like they slowed her movement aside from being easily seen when using the 1st skill may be due to revamped graphics. With the current revamp, she seems like buffed and nerfed at the same time! 😅
I thought they gonna make her a one hit hero this time like beatrix before but that wouldn't be a good idea (or too much!) considering how agile she is, making her both a marksman and assassin.

elgin you can check the bushes just by holding the ult and canceling it it will not use the sniper shooting ability but it can give you vision and a lesser cooldown for your ult

That's why you should build EB + TB on Lesley. These 2 are her true core item eversince her release but ppl still tend to build atk spd items on her

As a solo que Lesley with 1.2K matches (52% WR), I'd say the buffs can make her popular again. But the re-adjustments (the nerfs on her critical damage) may put off most MM users. She's too squishy in early game and will need help from teammates to gank gold lane for her to farm your reco items. For me, I am excited to play her do that 3-hit combo to enemy heroes. For me, she is better now. Just don't die early often. Get your items, play smart, play safe early on.

Lesley Tank Build is waving
She becomes a situational pick MM, for counterpicking high armor tanks just like Karrie/Claude against high HP tanks
She isn't that situational
Even though she's strong in the late game, when enemies keep on delaying your farm and ganking you, it's hard to catch up especially with MMs that specializes on attack speed. Don't really know if she will be in Meta once she's released but let's just hope they'll try to buff her early game damage.
If they wanted her be like a hit and run MM, they should add a slight movement speed boost when hitting the enemy with her passive I guess like give her 50% movement speed for 0.5s to be able to reposition herself just like what they did with Bruno
this is basically a hit and run mm her main job is to poke and get the enemies low so her teammates can have a easy time finishing people off,also the ganking part is true for any heroes get ganked enough and its hard to catch up

I was a Lesley main for a long time but I stopped. But when the new revamp came, I didn't hesitate to play Lesley again.

With Lesley's new in game mechanic, it definitely made her more interesting to use. I'm probably going back onto using Lesley👀
Only thing dissapointing is her voice. She sounds so mature (i like it, but it doesn't suit to judge with her new lore) while Gus is still being him, playful troublemaker.. Like a teenager.
Actually for me its the opposite. I love Lesley's new voice because of the maturity unlike the old one but I friggin hate Gusion because he sounds like an a**hole.

Lesley well I just like the shift because she is viewed as Harley's older sister. Her old voice sounds way too teen. Ever since hearing her collector skin voice, I already knew her voice was gonna be great.

malefic roar is still important for when your passive is not available.
With the new Lesley, I think it's better to go all out with damage for poking instead of wasting 1 item slot for cases you dont have the passive (which is not much). After all, she is an mm designed to poke. Unless you are going for attack speed build, malefic roar is pretty useless

@@VeuTrox The problem is, with poking build you still need 3 hits with 1st skill, takes around 6s to kill enemy. Other mm can kill in 2-3s tops, while lesley needs the target to not get away, and poke back and forth to kill in 6 seconds. If they got haas claw they can just recover hp in seconds on minion/creep.
@@zackzoom8779 that's where Sea Halberd comes in to reduce the healing effects, though I understand your point. With a poking build, she pretty much loses her Assassin role, though I'm still not sure if Malefic Roar is worth building with her current state. Guess we'll just have to see how it goes in the original server

i think they want to return lesley as a burst type marksman. which means no more attack speed items like windtalker.
her core items would be berserker fury, blade of heptaseas, and hunter strike. these 3 items will give a lot of physical damage and also crit chance

This is op ah...she will be the new beatrix dmg wise..plus her mobility and her ult preventing flanks... She will be insane especially for this tank meta. I bet she will get a lot of new shiny skins tho..
Crit true damage is cool, but I preferred the physical pen passive more, cuz her normal basic attacks can benefit from the physical pen stats which can give her a fighting chance when her passive and skills are in cooldown.
And the fact that her official is more stronger than the revamp :(

2:47 i think junggler can help you to clearing lane when you around and when enemy die, because of new adjustment junggler can't get any bennefit from minion wave for first 5 min and that can be helping for denied several minion on enemy tower

Before they implement the new talent system, I'd like Moonton to buff the Critical Damage we get from Marksman Emblem. Currently we get 4.5% extra crit damage per point (max of 13.5%). Make it 5% per emblem point (max of 15%) and give weapon master 5% extra crit damage so we can get a max of 20% crit damage. Just enough to nullify the crit damage reduction heroes like Ling and the new Lesley if they give Berserker's fury.
