The ad10 is an amazing knife, i owned one and cut myself a few times too. Its a great cutter and it feels amazing in the hand. Sold mine but maybe ill get it again someday
The AD-10 is probably the best knife Cold Steel makes. If you have your index finger a bit more forward when releasing the lock it won't bite you when it drops down. The forward choil catches & then you can safely drop it shut. Great content man, are you planning on looking at the AD-15 as well? That scorpion lock is great once you get used to it. Cheers & have a good day.
What is the difference between ColdSteel AD10 and ColdSteel AD10 by A. Demko? I would appreciate the detailed explanation. Also are there a FAKE ones out there and how to spot the difference? THX.
I truly do not understand why "everyone" call this knife gigantic and a monster. It is really not. I was surprised how small and light it was when I got mine.
If you compare it to thin, slicer type folding knives people normally edc, then it might seem heavy and chunky. I own a lot of fixed blade knives, and when I bought my first folding knife (it was an AD-10 lite), that knife seemed small and lightweight. 🤷♂️
I have a video where I can show you how to open and safely close the AD10 with one hand without any risk of cutting yourself. Don’t know how to send you the video though. I’m on Bladeforum but your profile is private I believe.
The U.S. Demko is on my must get list. Now I need to see which company willing to sent it to the U.K. Lol 😂

Gotta move that index finger up man! Lucky it wasn’t a 4Max or you might not have a finger any more. Lol
