A Truly amazing collection and layout, stuff that dreams are made of, not just the volume but also condition is breathtaking, as a collector of standard gauge myself I take my hat off to this guy.
Oh good Lord, Carl's collection is so pristine it's frightening! I can't think of another word to use. Like he's a benevolent time-traveler from a Sci-Fi movie who shops in the past! 😲 Thanks for bringing us into that "Inner Sanctum" Sean! Just incredible!
(This is Tom, not Sandra.) AMAZING multi-layered setup!!!! Thank you for posting this video. What a great joy to watch this detailed video!!!! Thank You!!!! (Tom)
Great video Sean, I have seen his layout on TM videos. I also have the book Mr. Pettijohn has written on standard gauge cars. I enjoy watching your progress on your standard gauge layout also Sean . Thanks for sharing
Wow! That is really impressive. Never seen standard gauge that close to high rail. Does he restore them trains/pieces? I can’t imagine finding so many original standard gauge in that condition. Simply outstanding! Thanks so much for sharing your experience. You did a great job with this video.
Thanks for a superb video and to Mr. Pettijohn for so graciously hosting you so you could bring this outstanding collection to model railroad enthusiasts all over the world. How long has he been collecting? As other commenters have stated, this is a one-of-a-kind collection. This made my week!
Thank you for sharing his layout! By any chance, was he featured in TM Books and Videos projects in the past? Several sections of his layout look familiar to various segments of their programs
Really well done video.Sean, finishing up my new trainboard, 18 by 24 ft. O gauge. I have an mth premier erie triplex steam engine sitting on my bookshelf, never run, since I bought it, uncertain, 6 to 10 years ago. I've spent many hours searching my home for my original mth charger, not found, for the erie charger plug.. I've replaced many mth batteries, but given the erie driver wheels on the coal tender, do you suggest I attempt to open the tender for battery replacement on this proto 2 engine.please help, since I know you have an erie triplex. I test ran my proto 1 Yellowstone mesabe and its clears all walls and turns fine so the erie should have its swing clearance. But I dont wish to destroy a board because of a dead battery. Have you opened you erie triplex tender? Help. Gary j
It is in "My O Gauge Layout" series. It is spread across Episodes 2 & 3 depending what part you are interested in. Just go to Playlists, then "My O Gauge Layout" and you will see all the Episodes.

Hi Sean. You used to have a video on the motorized "bridge" you did to access the center of your Fastrack layout. Where is it please?

I don't know if Carl bought all these trains because he's greedy and rich ha!
