- I sometimes see a Thule Omnistore 6300 broken on sites. I immediately blame the owner and wonder how they could be so careless. I mean an Omnistor canopy is easy to put up, right? The problem is that with caravanning you need to concentrate, if you get distracted, it can easily end in DISASTER.
Although I did make sure the canopy was pegged down, and storm straps in place, it wasn't the wind that caused the problem..
Remember, caravanning should be fun. Be safe, but don't worry about everything.

Wow. Bit disconcerted that a wee bit of rain did that. Just had mine fitted and never used it. Good job it doesn't rain often in Scotland 😁
We have a Thule canopy and always set one leg lower so water runs off also have a rainblocker the side arms and canopy clamps add rigidity

Fully agree, a Dutch couple told us to do that on our first trip out in the caravan, very kind of them.
I always carry tools in the van. Simple jobs when the toilet pump seizes, screw driver with fix it.

You can get replacement parts for those pretty easily but not the cheapest!
