Every time I listened to this song on my playlist, I got the urge to press replay at the end. I love the lyric. Tomomi has the ability to talk about mundane things in a profound way (Laundry Laundry, Canned Beer, Konya wa Pizza Party). Mami and Rina have been doing a great job but I wish Tomomi would write more.
yo Cary-yeah that's exactly what she does! Her song "Sunday Drive" feels like we're just cruising along with Motown on the AM. Then she throws in "forget for the time being forget the (Buddhist) Three Realities" and "opened the window for a deep breath, the sea breeze stung my eyes, unexpectedly there came anxiety without knowing why" etc. Wow! ua-cam.com/video/kfPdUwkpoy8/v-deo.html
@@billcunningham9256 My favorite line in Laundry Laundry is "I just missed one button. I just didn't shape it properly when hanging it out. Though I try to recover quickly, I feel worn out". The song is about washing away sadness and depression but no one recovers quickly. Yet she's taking the steps to get back out there. For someone who acts silly all the time, her songs are deep.
@@Cary-co4qi Yeah, you're right. I also I like the line "Vapor trails glowing in the sky, it seemed like the world was split in two." -a flash back on vapor trails as depicted in the 2016 feature animé "Your Name"-? (The most watched movie in Japan that year). So when she sings that line-twice-HARU and MAMI back her up with "Ooh-ohh-ohh-Arrah" or "Allah"... I think they added that to bring out the "deep message" of the vapor trails. It's not in the studio version....

ガールズバンドという言葉がいい意味で似合わなくなったなぁ。ベテランの貫禄と雰囲気がある。
