Anyone else watching because it was simpler when you were a kid ? thank God for nostalgia
Yes indeed Roman, I close my eyes and have the best memories 💞💯💞
It’s not the same without these nostalgic holiday commercials. CBS had all the holiday classics back in the day
1987 was the year that commercials started to have that very specific "late 80s, early 90s" feel. That's my favorite time period in history. I want to go back to then.
me too.
@@jamesmuller1481 Thanks, man!
How much i miss these days, i was 19 in 1987 right out of High School and living at home. Now im 51 and all my family is gone. Loved Christmas when my family was alive now its just thinking of the good times but cant get them back. How i long for those days..............................
Me too
While I was born in June 1988, my parents recorded a “Christmas Tape” for me while I was still in utero. As a little girl in the early/mid-1990s, I remember fast-forwarding through the specials and watching the first block of commercials. So I’ve been an 80s commercials fan for 25 years.
My favorites are the A1 Poultry Commercial, the Wheat Thins ad, and the the Oreo ad. I remember those ones very vividly.
My parents recorded the same thing and yours. I remember the quackers cracker ad. Charlie brown the grinch and Rudolph I guess all aired on CBS the same night
It was a neat time!
Hi Hope! I see you on all these old commercial videos, lol. The A1 poultry sauce commercial is my favorite too!
My whole life I have been watching as this was taped when I was 3. I have it on DVD and watch every year before Christmas
So nostalgic. I was in 7th grade in 1987. Great time to be a kid!
I was born in 1987
Omg I have this on vhs taped in 1987! The commercials put me right in the holiday spirit and remind me of being a kid at Christmas
When i was born before Christmas on December 10th 1987 before my little brother does on February 1987 the same as i had two brothers before 10 years apart and I watched Christmas cartoons and specials on tv that i'll never forget.
This is as much of my childhood as the specials. Family for a vcr in 87 and I ran the tape out for years of use. I swear I just teared up at hardnose Mrs. Hatcher.
Awwww the memories :) such a great time to be alive
I love these CBS commercials! I wish I saw these!
Oh, good old memories.😊
First time seeing these wonderful adverts as I live in New Zealand these didnt get shown here thanks for the upload.
Interesting commercials for Christmas.
I was 6 years old that year & we had the 7UP Christmas countdown calendar
What I also miss is that old McDonald’s jingle
This is so awesome Walker thanks so much 💞💞💞💯
I just love the fact that back in the 80s the commercials ment something then what they do now i mean the Nostalgia of it all the way that you can take a mcdonalds commercial for example now we have to come up with a tag line or story line that will touch them in a way and still get them to order hamburgers the kids and the hard driven teacher that one touches the heart strings
This was taped on Print Date: December 11th, 1987.
Thxs to u for ur channel
It's takes me back
Be smart, don't start with Worf from ST:TNG!
Love the flashbacks. But I agree about that Rudolph still. At least Frosty, Grinch, and Twas had variety in their bumpers. Something other than Rudy looking like he's scared. Lol
The world was a thousand times better then.
I really want to try A1 Poultry Sauce...
...usually whenever chicken is bland I'll just add Frank's Red Hot Sauce, but while that makes it better, all it really does is make me wish I had hotwings deep fried with the skin on (none of that batter nonsense) instead of bland chicken to begin with.
This is the problem with watching old commercials... wanting what no longer exists...
Classic
I have the those as well
Love the hard nose miss hatcher mcdonalds commercial. I hate walking into mcdonalds now its just not the sane feel
4:55 Honey, are you playing with your food again?
I was born December 7th 1987, along with Aaron Carter
Happy Birthday
It was very sad that he passed away.
@@dannewnam2701 I was gonna re visit this video
cool
You can relive christmas just go to ebay and buy all the old decorations
A Charlie Brown
Is that Diedrich Bader doing 7up voiceovers?
Is there... can there possibly be... anything more vacuous than chewing gum commercials? If you believe the critics - and audiences - then the answer (surprisingly) is yes! LEONARD PART 6!
Oreo Cookie
I was 10

I miss the good old days of America, before it went to shit thanks to drugs politics and low quality immigration.
Rovhalt stop whining like a baby you’re a grown up act like one that’s an order
Yep when immigration didn't include illegal, human smuggling, fentanyl from China, 90% being young males (usually in gangs) and an administration that gives them priority (and benefits and ballots and looking the other way during crimes) over actual citizens. What about their women victims? What about the fact that women are now the minority due to all these males coming across?
transhumanism isn't nearly as exciting as Ray wants to think. This is about the nature of the soul and consciousness and he seems to think it's an algorithm.. He should have stuck with making Keyboards. That was good for humanity. Trying to turn everyone into an Atari, less so.
