This Inter miami loss is a blessing in disguise. It shows that local talent can compete with probably the best attack in MLS ( the duo of the MSN trio which terrorized the defenders of Europes big clubs). Secondly the MLS is not rigged for Messi and last but not least, MLS is a competitive league.

Disagree on the assessment of Inter Miami defense -since the inter offense puts no pressure on the opposing teams it creates havoc on the Inter defense. Opposing teams are allowed to move unpressured in the back and midfield which turns Inter games into shootouts where more often their final third quality prevails..... but it also makes them easy to play against and hang in if you have unpressured space to work and counter effectively.
Those that think inter Miami failed this season, doesn't know much about the sport. For the team to get to where they are with their bad defense since the beginning of the season is remarkable.

And it's not that we just care about Messi, the league itself is actually interesting and competitive, but it's not possible for most of us to watch many games due to the time zones. I literally had to wake up at 1am/2am/3am to watch Intermiami play, I had no issue because it's Messi and Intermiami... But no way I will be waking up for other games, it's just too much. Great league, great teams, good players, but the timezones, nahhh, too much strain on the body.
