He was kind enough to share his knowledge as a mentor sa PhilPop Songwriting Bootcamp na naganap dito sa Davao City last week.
Omg! I really miss them. Everytime i hear their songs my world would stop and cherished my good and bad memories. All their songs are beautifully written, all coming from the heart. Unfortunately, no artist of today can create beautiful music like neocolours did. They are the icon in the music industry. Ito still has his beautiful voice. Hope they still compose/sing, and i will always be loyal fan.😊
I super agree ..... Iba yung touch of music ng neocolours ..... The rhythm , melody en lyrics are all originals saka you don't really outgrew it ..... Grabe elementary pa ko nun pero yung quality of sound ng band at boses ni idol ito di nagbago ..... Naka2loka .... Ksi yung ibang singer iniiba yung version ng song kapag after so many years kasi di nila masyado mareach yung pitch ..... Super galing ! Wow! Wala bang relaunch like yung sa journey? The composer of this song "HOLD ON -JOSEL JIMENEZ " clearly express himself ,he create song based on his emotions and experience , but without inspiration its difficult to compose ., beat and harmony /melody effect flow better
May nagsabi dito na di daw makikilala yung kantang ito kung hindi ni-revive ng Shamrock. Hello???!!! sumikat po ito nuong nirelease ito in 1988. Naging most requested song nga ito sa mga radio stations back then. Siguro late ka na ipinanganak kaya mo nasabi yan. Bulok na kase ang generation mo, wala nang Original Pilipino Music (OPM) sa panahon mo, puro Revived Pilipino Music (RPM) na! Or should i say R.I.P. parang mas bagay diba?!

I understand your point kase you're too young to know na hindi pala shamrock ang original. ganyan talaga if ang ni-revive na kanta ay yung na-release almost 2 decades ago na, ciempre yung younger generation would have no clue na meron palang nauna. ang problem kase with our new generation of local singers puro revival na lang, pag nag-release sila ng album parang 90% yata ng mga kanta dun revival. it pales in comparison sa generation ko na halos lahat ng kanta original. I don't know kung bakit ganito ang kinasadlakan ng OPM ngayon, kawawa naman tuloy ang mga kabataan ngayon.
kung hindi nmn kinanta ng shamrock.. di rin natin maalala na sila tlga kumanta.. minsan kaya nila nrerevive para maalala natin yung mgagandang kanta dati na di natin alam kung cnong kumanta... may revive din na pangit version!.. hahaha! peace out!
