You have tapped into an area where the church has been starving to be fed. The modern trend of choruses and "worship songs" has supplanted the traditional hymns but I promise you that there is a tremendous and unquenchable thirst for the old hymns old the faith.
@@pattysherwood7091 There is a sermon in every old hymn. Any pastors that are at a loss as to what to preach next, just pick up an old hymnal and take your pick
Well my take on it is that there will always be people of such low self esteem that their best effort at being productive is to smear disgrace where ever they go. It gives them a sense of purpose. It is a sad state to be in and we really need to pray for them.
Your playing and ministry has become a part of my daily life and I thank God for you each day.Your gifts God has blessed you with has been very helpful to my daily spiritual growth.
I really enjoyed you and Kennon Renfrow playing together , what a blessing , and a demostration of God's gift , to the both of you . I remember Kennon's mom and dad singing together often at our church ( Tabernacle Baptist Church ) in Wilson NC . Kennon and I both graduated from Wilson Chistian me in 1972 , and Ken much later . I fact , Jim Bless was principal . God bless you Natalie , and may God continue to bless you and your family .
Thanks for playing “when they ring those golden bells. I remember riding with my father in the late ‘40’s, windows down, and hear him singing that song. I was only a small child, but I have never forgotten.
Thank you for displaying your obedience to our Lord by sharing the gift He gave you. You help me, and others, to worship our Lord through music. On a side note, your arrangements remind me of Rudy Atwood. He was an acquaintance of mine. I enjoyed his style.
I love listening to these hymns being played and don't mind how may times I hear these old hymns - they do mind and soul good! I was brought up on them, but sadly they are not sung in our UK church today. However, I take away lists of these hymns and sing them with my lovely Mum who now has dementia, but loves to sing them with me. Thank you Natalie and Josh!
Natalie, I just love to hear you play. My husband of 49 years passed away early last year after a 10 year battle with cancer. I have to say one of the things I miss most about him is his beautiful piano playing. He had a wide and varied taste in music but he expressed himself with his playing, particularly the old hymns. His favourite was It is well with my Soul which we sang at the thanksgiving service for him. I am watching from Sydney Australia.
Lindsey, so TRUE. My late brother-in-law used to say every church he visited was a 7-11 church. "Why 7-11?" I asked. "'Cause they sing the SAME 7 words or phrases over and over, 11 times! And they call it 'Praise' or 'Worship' music!" Succinctly stated!
Amen! Always awestruck by how greatly God has gifted Natalie. Josh is tremendously talented and the Lord brought them to bless us and make His praise glorious. 🙏❣
Thank you for playing “When They Ring Those Golden Bells.” I have q distinct memory of riding with my father in his Pickup, windows down, listening to him singing that song in the late ‘40’s.
Trust and Obey I love this song. When I was a teenager our pastor's wife and I use to sing this on Sunday worship service for the congregation. Brought back great memories. God Bless You
"Heavenly Sunlight!" Just what I needed to hear this morning. Thanks for thrilling my soul! This brought back such precious memories. Thank you so much, Natalie. Praying for both of you and all your family.
No need to explain yourselves. Do the best you can with the sound and the rest of us are just grateful for this time of worship music. And Natalie - you can talk soft or loud - it doesn’t matter.
Praise the Lord for you and your willingness to make these videos available to us. Some of us are old or not living in the US (Retired to Philippines), have no holiness church to go to, and are just out of luck. But you changed that with your music. Much appreciated.
Good afternoon, the hymns are just beautiful and are making great memories flow when I was much younger. I have been 🎶 along with you. May God continue to bless you and your family 👪 You are God sent for an old man praising God!!! 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
It's so great once again to feel Nearer, my God to Thee, as we continue to Trust and Obey, and continue to do His Spirit's Will day after day, and hear these inspirational melodies played again in such a heartfelt Way!! For we know that When the Roll is Called up Yonder, we'll meet Him in the Sweet By and By!! Thanks again for another encouraging offering of Thanks and praise, Natalie and Josh!! 🙏🎹🎶
Was brought up in the 1950's in an old time mission hall in Liverpool, England and all this reminds me of such happy days, as this was the music played - great to see the younger generation embrace our great heritage. David P Griffiths - well done Josh and Natalie!
@@MrQualitank100 It was AINTREE GOSPEL MISSION, Greenwich Road, Aintree, Liverpool, 9 - my dad William Griffiths had been Pastor there during the war years, I was born later in 1953. He had been trained for ministry under Rees Howells at the Bible College of Wales which we now in Scotland have restored - see www.ecctv.org
John was our worship leader in Grand Rapids and Sunday nights with J W Peterson and Harold DeCu were HEAVENLY..... he introduced new songs on Sunday nights
Appreciate the music very much every week and totally blessed. This will be more complete to have a 3 to 5 minutes video message inserted about Salvation on every episodes at the end of music playing. Through this channel will reach out more souls to win for for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Natalie it is such a blessing to hear you play especially all the old gospel hymns and singing along as you play. Sadly due to covid we are not able to sing in Church and I really miss it. May God richly bless you as you serve Him in the way. Josh does a great job too. x We usually sing Oh for a thousand tounges to sing to the other tune.

Welcome back Natalie and Josh! I certainly missed you last week... But what you do each week is a huge commitment and it's important that you take a break from time time to time, lest you wear yourselves out! Natalie was a little quiet to start with, but the volume on her mike was better when she raised it. Josh, you were fine and the piano tone and volume were really good, as is the video quality. It was a surprise to see Natalie and Emily on Olivia Collingsworth's You Tube post the other day!

My 95 year old mother in London, UK, loves listening to your Hymn plaing! Because she doesn't have the internet, I transfer the videos onto DVD for her.
I used to have a copy of "Great Hymns of the Faith"! It's either in a box, or, if I'm remembering correctly it might have been one of my music books that sadly got ruined when my apartment flooded years ago. I can't remember for sure. As a fun side note, I believe my copy was blue. 😊
Enjoyed listening you playing. I bought three copies of the hymn book you recommended from Melody publications for my three daughters. It is a lovely hymnal. Thanks. Sumithra from Australia
Aleluia Deus seja louvado e abençoe esse ministério de vocês maravilhoso, que pena não sei inglês.mas a música não tem idioma conheço muito delas.Deus os abençoe grandemente.
Natalie, you play very beautifully, my congrats. You are using the gift God gave you for Him. A song I heard many years ago I would hope you might play. The words are "Tell the world Jesus Saves." Love o you all, Bill
Good to have back. I really liked the hymns from 'Heavenly Highway' - not a book I know. Sorry to hear your family members have been unwell. We will remember them in our prayers. Rev Bryan V East
applemac100100, George Beverly Shea sang this song at my folks wedding. Of course, he wrote it. My parents were at Moody Bible Institute and he was singing on Moody radio station.
01:02:36 So Send I You - That tune (TORONTO, I believe) is not the tune I am used to. At our church, we sang a version pretty much identical to the tune of Day by Day (BLOTT EN DAG), and that's the one I'm used to though TORONTO is in our new hymnal.
🎼Thank you for sharing your talent & encouraging pianist to keep serving our Lord! 🙏Would you PLEASE consider to film your videos mostly from the bass view verses the upper high notes????
