if the front rib breaks you cannot replace it you have to buy rib with cover ,which costs all most as much as the bivvy. will not be buying fox again.

Have the exact same issue. This also occurs with the window panels, so annoying (ocd 😅).

If it is waterproof, why need the overwrap?
Less likely to get condensation on the inside and regulates the temp better if its cold or hot
