Great video! Love my Continental 4000s in 25c ! Great in the city for getting on and off the sidewalk... can’t get around that... Greetings from Germany!

Hi Benedict! I'm visiting Berlin this weekend....I do like the 25's now and wouldn't go back. I'm using Conti Competitions, but they're more pricey than the Vittorias.

Very nice! I like Berlin a lot. I actually just checked and I have the 23c and not the 25c 😂😂 I inherited an old De Rosa from my grandfather and it still had the Contis from 27 years ago on it. Back then they used a special softener in the plastic which is now banned in the industry but I was able to still use them for a year. Last week though, both of them broke at the same time 😅 The „tires“ (I don’t know the right word) where brown so I wanted the same color. I found out that the Continental tires from 30 years ago where still manufactured and only slightly changed so I bought them on the internet. They are actually the same manufactoring line as back then, but with today’s technology such as Polyester which is also used in car tires. My grandfather died very surprisingly at a very young age which is why the bike stood for 27 years untouched in the basement. I just pumped up the tires and it was good to go.

I found a guy talking about low pressure in wheels, I got my 23'ers so low until I was bumping at high speeds and tackling corners was not smooth, I put a little bit more air and I feel so much comfortable and as well more grip round the corners... I haven't challenged myself speeds on flat and climbing but I got new PR's descending so they are indeed faster.

YEah, I think the whole low pressure thing has gone a bit too far, racing bike tyres were never designed to go so low. Personally, I hate to feel the tyre moving around when I put down power, in the bends, or out of the saddle. So for me 90psi is about as low as I go.

Cool video dude, how you like riding 23/25 I have the conti attack/force on my track bike and love every ride. As soon as the tires need changing I'm trying the conti 5000gp

How do you get those cool readouts (H/R, Cadence, Speed) on your video? I have a Garmin Edge 810.

Yes indeed, I do now. That was when I was transitioning from 23 to 25 and wanted to do it by halves. But I now prefer the extra cornering grip you get from the 25 on the front.

Hi, what’s the clearance like around the rear brake bridge? I tried 25mm continentals on a wide rim and it was a bit too close for comfort!

It was fine really, a reasonable amount of margin. I don't think a 28 would fit though, not that you would want to try!
