this is possible with 6 string guitar ? what is the tuning ?
Yes, but it would be very hard to tune to octave lower F# while having standard string set. Try experimenting with string gauge
You need a baritone guitar and thicker gauge. Most of current 8 strings guitars have longer scale too, for maintaining tension.
It is very much possible on my shitty $80 strat with the .11 Ernie Ball strings. Holds the tuning incredibly well too.
