Bring back unsleeved bridge-shuffling, really make those single affordable since they're all in dog-water condition with concrete marks scored into the backs, because that is the sign of a well-loved, well-played card with some history.
This short is a bit late lol. I've thought about how the reserved list could be banned under wotc's control. Even though it was a joke, I'm glad to see a content creator acknowledge it as a possibility. Maybe not this year or next, but eventually I think it may happen in commander.
If this happens, instead of trying to split cEDH into a separate format, I would like to see EDH separate from commander, and have two formats. Commander, where they can ban all the fast mana, all the good card draw, all the reserved list cards, and whatever else they deem 'unfun' to make the format more balanced. Then EDH can be the format where people can actually communicate what kind of game they want to play.
The big thing that bothers me is the arrogance. The RC held no discussions with the CAG or anybody else about the possibility of appointing new members, releasing current members, expanding the number of members, or restructuring the way they do things. They just decided, inside the period of a week with no outside consultation, that if they couldn't steward the format, nobody else possibly could either. They could have declared a hiatus, the members fearing for their safety could have publicly stepped down, and there could have been a community discussion about what the future of the format should be. There could have been some social media-based discourse, and we could have reached a collective decision. Instead, they bungled a banning by not consulting anyone or planning it properly, and when called to account for it(overly harshly, without question), they threw the format away, not consulting anyone or planning it properly.
@@plastefuchs666 I don't disagree, but that doesn't bear any relevance here. Decision-makers get threatened for EVERYTHING, and anybody who's completed their first week on the Internet knows that. We also generally know that it's a cowardly fringe minority who isn't going to do anything. It never should have happened, and it's shameful that it did, but that's being used as an excuse for far too much.
I mean, it was always going to end this way, extreme reactions or not. The RC couldn't run it forever, and it is Wizards game so it makes sense to give co troll of the format to them.
The only part i disagree with the infractions about is loud exhaust. In any polite society, if you revved an engine and spewed black smoke into the air people are breathing, they would drag you out of the car and string you up on the traffic light.
They should ban sleeves
It’s a foreign object

@@thechikage1091 i love my cards more than some random kid's basic island that got trapped in a lego bin for 16 years
They will do this when they crack down on proxies
This is Magic, not wrestling! Though a pro-wrestling Battlebond sequel would be amazing...Interplanar Championship Wrestling!
@@MomirViggwilvthey better not this will hurt CEDH big time
They should ban tapping cards less than 85 degrees and more than 95 degrees.
Wizards are really making you guys work overtime these past few weeks.
wheres the video?!!

I mean, maybe people shouldn't have sent death threats to people for a rules change in a casual format that you play for fun.

Please brew rog/reyhan that’d be so sick! plus it’s top food chain colours
…a solid few months where the content exceeds the creation. As if a set every 6 weeks wasn’t enough.
Here is my thought. 2 separate commander formats. Casual and competitive with their own different ban lists.

"In a polite society.... you should be lynched" wtf is wrong with you?
