I think they are doing a great job with the new construction, love all the new colors and styles of homes. They all work incredibly well with the old homes in between.
Watching from Buffalo, it’s great to see the rust belt really becoming the restored belt. We’re not infilling at the rate you guys are but we’re definitely getting there, block by block!
Remarkable how similar the new build architecture is to here in New Zealand 🇳🇿 where gentrification and “infil” housing is going on.( Infill is where they take a standard sized 1 acre plot from post WW2 suburban developments and then divide into,3,4 or 5 2 & 3 story homes)
There certainly is nothing boring with colors, styles, single, & multifamily homes. Flat roofs are fine for design & living areas, but with our weather it's not a good idea.

Interesting blend of old and new.

Love your videos because you get right into the heart and soul of Detroit.
That urban farming looks bad, they should just build more homes condos on empty land, I don't understand Detroit's obsession with farming
Those "new" houses look like trash. Bland, dull, cookie cutter, boxes. And, they want an arm and a leg for that?!?!?
