CRO CRO also known as THE MIGHTY MIDGET is a FOUR times Calypso Monarch of T&T. He is known for his hard hitting social commentaries. He is one of the Masters of the artform.
Cro Cro won four Calypso Monarch titles: 1988 ("Three Bo Rats"; "Corruption in Common Entrance"), 1990 ("Political Dictionary"; "Party"), 1996 ("Dey Look for Dat"; "Support Commentary Calypso"), and 2007 ("Nobody Ain't Go Know"). He placed 2nd in the Calypso Monarch competition in 2005 (Oh Grenada; Chop Off They Hand) and 2008 ("Respect for the Fourth King").

It’s not yesterday listening to the teacher of the public Always hear the truth from Bro.
Cro Cro is surely a unique and versatile calypsonian. His subject matter is unorthodox but somehow possesses a special ability of delivering awkward content in a very entertaining manner. Not everyone has the balls to say the things he does and that makes him stand out in a line up. Sometimes I wonder if he is genuine with his content or does he seek controversy for showmanship impact as his words can be deemed abrasive. Putting that aside though he is one of the greats.

A master piece in my opinion , is his rendition of the Rodney King Calypso. In 2020 his lyrics still haunts us today of the injustices done to the black man by those whose role is to protect and serve.

Yes, Cro Cro is the greatest Kiso artiste. He brims over with TALENT. He exposes corruption in T&T. However, the public doesn't seem to care, because they continue to put corrupt people in power and when a party try to change things, they vote them out.
Just look at what is happened to our education system. It has gone from a model system under Dr Eric William to a broken and corrupt system of education, where children from poor famalies are being failed abismally. The island has generations of children growing up living unproductive lives and unable to provide for themselves and their family and this is continuing unabated. Decades of unfit education ministers presiding over govt failing schools, inaffective and uncaring teaching staff, who take no responsibility for the underachievement of young children and school leavers.
She was referring to the virgin islands. Virgin islands, the Caribbean is part of American tertitories. . The virgin islands is indeed paradise.

@@caribbeaninsighttv594 the cultural revolution hasn't been doing so good, from what I hear. It is obviously because of what everyone here seems to be ignoring. The calypso tents are falling because of the racism enjoyed by so many of Crocro's fans. He is apparently the kingpin of this revolution in my birth land. Since it's no secret, I think we know what needs to be done to save our culture and the carnival industry.
