Too many careless turnovers, too many missed FTs. Officials called the game tight and the Bruins didn't adjust. Bruins need someone other than Tyler who can make a shot when the team really needs it. The team is much better this year and I think they will learn from this.
It really was not surprising. We had a nine point lead on Oregon with less than four minutes left and almost lost that one. Go watch our last couple tournament exits or the losses against usc. Everyone wants to talk about officiating or free throws in this particular game, but Cronin’s teams in general have this habit of building a lead and letting it slip against quality opponents. It has been happening for years. When we came back to beat Arizona, I thought “now I know how some of our opponents feel.” He’s the only common denominator for this stuff and it would be nice if he could get it fixed.
In the last few minutes in a time out Bilodeau was in the huddle looking at coach Cronin for instructions , but he didn't even look at Tyler who was in need of guidance on the next play SMH
Zero points from Kobe, and very little from Dylan is really telling! Dylan Andrews has got to get it together, points and assist! Lazar should be scoring at least 10 pts a game!
Dylan Andrews is NOT capable of being a solid PG. The sooner we accept this, the sooner we can resolve the problem. Trent Perry will eventually be a far better player. We might as well go with him now, freshman or not.

Sounds like both teams had "same team, different game" type performances. As is made obvious by my screen name, I am a tar heel. The team has, for much of the year, had a pattern of falling behind by large amounts and having to mount a furious rally. Most of the times they have come up short. Not yesterday. It'll take a couple of months, I think, to see if either team has actually learned anything from this matchup.
Dillon Andrews is overrated. But I still question the refs and their bias. I look at it this way, if the Supreme Court can’t be trusted why should the refs in sporting events since betting is acceptable.
Same UCLA for last decade plus now. They will beat up on the UC Santa Barbara’s and the ITT Techs; then whenever they go into Conference play or play a legit ranked team, they fold and get exposed
Even though UCLA was the better team, obviously, NC is a good program, no doubt. Ok. 10-2 and UCLA is in tract to be a tournament team. Move on. Gonzaga is next up. On a neutral court. Learn, learn, offensively and defensively. Gonzaga will be a tuff game, yet, defeat-able. Defense wins games, complimented by solid offense

UNC shot 35 free throws, made 24; two more makes than UCLA shot. They played aggressively and got rewarded for it.
