It’s all about location location location. It’s really hard to generalize about this info. If you live in a good location, you’re gonna make more. But remember, they’ll take taxes out of that gross pay & there are gas costs. So minus $1,000 for taxes and its $2,000 and then add gas/ maintenance costs. So $1,800? Depending on the mpg of your vehicle. Still a nice weekly pay. Lot a work, but if you like driving, not a bad way to make a living. But again, if you live in a so so area, these numbers will be different. For others, lyft is still a great side hustle to pick up some extra cash. So if you work a regular 9-5 job and just want to crank out a couple weekend days or evenings its good too.
$1.8k/week after all expenses is still a great incomes that’s $7.2k a month or $87k a year. That’s pretty good for just driving around. I do Instacart and make around $2.2k a week. buy a good used car for 5-7k and make last two years. People are not using brand new cars to do ride share you mistakenly wrong. If you buy a car from 5000 and you make at least 1250 a week after expenses. For two years that 120,000 profit. The average used car can last 3 years. You have to be smart and it will make sense. Good shit.
I agree with this. There's always a good deal somewhere. Even if you have high concerns for high milage cars, a new car with a few miles will still save you thousands of dollars to a brand new car. Never buy new!
2014-2019 Corollas are the most reliable modern day vehicle you can buy today. Highest mileage one I’ve seen at the dealer was a 2016 with 880,891 miles with original engine/transmission/ air conditioning. Doesn’t make sense to get a Camry if your not getting paid more from Lyft / Uber.

I’ve been driving Uber for 7 years and Lyft for 6 years and I was making $800 part time 25 hours a week, and now I have to drive full time 40 hours or more a week to make $800. I don’t know when this person made this video? Was it recently or how much are they paying her to say what she is saying! In order to make that amount of money, they have to take everything, good and bad, and they pay you a dollar or more for each mile, and bad is that they pay you $0.50 or $0.70 per mile, which is terrible, because remember that you have to pay for your gasoline for your car and give your car full maintenance and we use the car a lot driving on those bad roads and paying us a pittance is not worth it!! The best way to know what I’m saying is to buy a new car or a used car that you have paid to drive Uber and Lyft.

In January I made $7000 and spent $700 on gas sooooooo that's not true for $3000. I tend to spend about 10 percent of what I make on gas. So if I made $3000, I probably spent around $300. Here's the video where I made $7,000: ua-cam.com/video/SxDJ1frlbm8/v-deo.html
You should mention Where do you do it and how many hours you spend to do it. There is a fake application which allow you to do fake number in order to get attention and give wrong information to people
the amount of gas paid is around 600$ and the hourly is 38$ an hour I drive and only see 22-35 an hour so to reach 38 an hour you need promotions or higher mileage pay. When I do math to make 56 hours go into 40 hours and become 35 an hour. And he pulls 38 an hour without that it’s kinda crazy. Back in 2016 you could make 50 an hour if they traveled the around 60 mile trip across the metroplex in my area. But pay is now 2 mile for 1$ unless you only take short trips exclusively. You can calculate the amount he paid for gas by doing 2800x2 5600/30 for miles per gallon x3.50$ Equaling 650$ give or take some amount based on the amount gas cost and the MPG of his car. even with free gas the hourly is at its top limit unless he does special service rides or promotions. Either well done or it’s lucky promos. I also like to say a ride is worth an average of 10$ so 152x10 is 1500 but that’s luck and a bad quick formula. When I drive 56 hours a week I go for 1500 a week so I don’t know how 20 hours can almost double that. And then also 20 rides a day is 8 or 9 hours and is usually 200 to 250. 200x7 days 1400. So 12 rides extra. So differential to go from 1400 give or take to 2800 seems like a x2 multiplier on the whole amount. 2800 is also the Lyft promotional rate they say you can make in a month so that’s intresting. 22.50 is the more likely number at the moment unless you cherry pick and even then I’ve seen an hour of short rides at up to 25$ you just think they are bad because you never see them back to back. they are bad when they are far but that’s every trip. I want to use a time chart to calculate weather or not to accept a trip based on its value but I haven’t quite come up with it completely so I have a 98% acceptance rate atm.
I didn't. It's in the long form version of this. I talk about taxes, oil changes, tire changes and all of the other expenses. I even compare how much I made per hour and how much my expenses are per hour: ua-cam.com/video/Rlcwm_c53mk/v-deo.html

btw that's 73hrs with [assengers... they don't count the amount of hrs you were just online without anyone in ur car... prob double the time.. imagine more than 100 hrs in ur car all week, plus he wont make that much, it's only for december month cuz it's the holiday season
That's not correct. The number shown is online time and the number you /think/ it is, is actually called booked time. 73 hours is my online time. December is a slow month where I live because all of the students leave and my town is a tourist town and the tourist only come during the spring and the summer.
Yes but wouldn't it depends what kind of vehicle you have. Every vehicle has different mileage per gallon. And plus don't you get paid differently depending on what size your vehicle is?
I get paid the base rate since I have a regular sedan. It's a Volkswagen Jetta which is average when it comes to MPGs. If you can fit 7 people, you can make more and if you have a luxury car, you can make more. The tools you use for your job are your choice. If you're using a pick up truck to do Lyft and Uber.... probably not a great idea.

Im trying to be like you, i wanna just grind, but i have a few questions… how much do you sleep and do u take small breaks to stretch ur legs and back…

Thats 38 dollars an hour minus gas tolls insurance and wear and tear on your car
What state are you at?
Do you do XL and luxury car trips?
I'm in South Carolina and I drive a Volkswagen Jetta. It does not qualify for anything more than basic Lyft and Uber.
You can't make that any longer Uber takes 70percent now. I no longer drive
What's your profit after cost?
You can calculate the amount he paid for gas by doing 2800x2
5600/30 for miles per gallon x3.50$
Equaling 650$ give or take some amount based on the amount gas cost and the MPG of his car. even with free gas the hourly is at its top limit unless he does special service rides or promotions.
Either well done or it’s lucky promos. I also like to say a ride is worth an average of 10$ so 152x10 is 1500 but that’s luck and a bad quick formula. When I drive 56 hours a week I go for 1500 a week
so I don’t know how 20 hours can almost double that.
Is it slow as hell right now in January?
An average of 21 rides per day damn!!! How did you maintain a positive reading with all of those interesting personalities

But how many hours did you Drive in one day ?
Minus fuel expence good $450
Yes but wouldn't it depends what kind of vehicle you have.
