Honestly Veronica is pretty brave for finally standing up to her father everyone is blaming her for being weak but how do u call a woman who took down 3 men in order to save herself weak. Veronica is one of the strongest ppl on the show who just a complicated relationship with her dad. She was young and in her teen years and he emotionally manipulated her for so long yet she’s the one to be blamed. Now that she is an adult she found more power in herself to actually get rid of him once and for all. Her bravery should be applauded instead of looked down on. If Betty did this y’all would be praising her but I haven’t seen Betty ever properly take down someone like Veronica and Cheryl have.
Yes but Betty already gets a lot of credit I haven’t ever seen or read someone actually acknowledge the fact Veronica was able to take down a serial killer in one night while it took Betty a whole season. I don’t wanna compare them but just pointing it out
Even if Hiram is a horrible person/father, I kinda pity him in this situation. Can you imagine having your kid and a bunch of other people pointing guns at you and forcing you to leave town with absolutely nothing? Not to mention it’s the last time you’ll ever see your kid too. That’s both heartbreaking and humiliating. Plus the way he stops and turns around to look at them is sad too, like he’s getting one last look at his daughter before he leaves her forever, knowing she hates him and won’t ever wanna see him again too. I swear life is messy. 🎻
Yes it is very sad that Hiram realized his daughter doesn't love him anymore and would even point a gun at his head. He may have been a horrible father, but he still valued his daughter in spite of this and even protected her many times. It's a shame their relationship had to end like this🥺
I actually feel bad for him from episode 12 :( we kinda learned more about his tragic childhood and honestly I feel bad. however, he can only blame himself for everything
His childhood doesn't excuse what he did. When it comes to healing your trauma, you don't go around killing innocent people or use them for personal gain or worse. You seek HELP. and it's clear that he's WAYYY beyond it at this point.
@@heyimjames5566 But Vito wasn't innocent. He was an even worse mobster than Hiram ever was, had Hiram's father killed and was responsible for corrupting Hiram into the man he is today. @happy baby You had no idea how manipulation works and it shows. Hiram is her father, and while some are capable of cuting ties with their toxic parents, a lot more aren't. Although they're hurting their child and everyone close to them, the said child is not able to leave their parent's side because at the end of the day, it's still their parent and no matter how bad of a human being said parent is, there's always still some good memories and love left because want it or not but every child is loving their parent and craving their love. Veronica loved her father and first craved his love and attention - she said so herself in 5x17. Hiram let her believe that after years she finally got noticed by him only to find out she was manipulated and used by him all along. But he's still a father, someone who used to be one of the most precious people in her life, so Veronica believed he would change and remembering how loving he could be when she was a kid, she gave him another chance, then he got sick and it's more than understandable that she forgot all about his wrongdoings because she feared Hiram is going to die. It's her father after all and although he had hurt her, she still cared for him. That's a typical toxic relationship between a manipulator, in this case Hiram, and his victim.
