Thanks for honesty bro... Sucks when u waste ur hard earned money on something I want but somehow u come up short.... I hope u still have OBS.. sweet truck
I installed the 6" RC kit and I didn't have at mess with the brake lines it came with drop down brackets. The lift all around was real easy to install I didn't even read the instructions only to match bolts and torque specs.
Thank you for the video really needed to see the truck on 6" lift with reg tires ivd got mud tires but original size on my stock rims mine is a 91 ext cab gonna install myself
Thanks for sharing, I have the same lift, I used to have 35s and it rubbed. You will need at least the 2, I went 3" body lift. Easy install and clears my 37x13.5 no problem
The kit is a great improvement as for 4x4 however you must remember this a off road suspension not ride like a Cadillac so big tires and lift was intended for the area I live for winter and off roading. I personally love it.
just bought a 6" pro comp for my 94 suburban k2500. i was wondering about the exhaust clearance but i have the 6.5td. i wonder what im gonna roll into. lol.
Misused Mango hey thanks for watching. The biggest thing is if you have the right tools for the job it's not for a average guy with some tools you need the right tools too make it easier. ...but if you have the money too pay a professional that does this every day it's a good idea to pay a professional but if you have done lift kits before and you what is involved in the task and have grinders welders torches hydraulic lifts blocks jacks air impact tools and friends to help with beer lol.😆 and a good knowledge of what's involved then do it your self and understand this is a suspension lift not a body lift If you know a good shop that has a good rep pay the money to have them do it... some give a full warranty. ...just be aware of the shop doing the work.
Get ready for all kinds of problems...I'd would've left it stock and added oem size all terrains and and put some bildlstien shocks on it and been done with it...ball joints will need replacing every couple years....which will lead to constant alignment problems and constant irregular tire wear....truck will now handle shitty in turns and gas milage will drop ... especially after you sink $2000+ in rims and tires...not to mention the drive axle angles are wearing prematurely and so are CV boots on front and on and on you will find out....when in reality the stock version could do any thing the lifted one will do with better handling and performance....but if looks is what you want..you done good. .
John Rambo thanks for watching the video. You are correct on some of your comments as for fuel economy anyone that has a truck doesn't really worry about it. As for lift kits yes there are alot of brands out there that put stress on all the geometry of the factory suspension that is why I went for the 6 inch suspension lift kit. As for a stock truck vs a modified truck my truck does more than a factory stock truck. Where I live and what I need my truck to do works for me. It's not for everyone there is alot of new trucks with suspension lift kits big tires and rims and will never go off road or never see any dirt roads. Going back to the 6 inch suspension lift kit keeps more of the factory geometry set up less the drive shafts. You did make many valid points. Thanks for watching. SAPPO

Yes I still have the truck and love everything about it with no regrets

Looks good bro. Sucks they they nicked your CV boot! Like you said, I trust no shop!
vac0002 ya you got to double check with their work.
Well they did a better job than a certain shop in red deer.
Oh wow really. You would think with all the 4x4 around there would be a great shop
Do you have the link of the lift?
Really wanna see the new rims an tires. I personally like 15inch rims with a fat tire love the truck. I got a 96 4x4 I wanna lift

Love the kit . How did it ride compared to stock

@@sappobbg mine rides worse than a tank at the moment so I’m sure it’s going to make it better
Why not go rough country kit
The price at the time was a way better option than Rough Country. However I had to replace the rear shocks as Pro comp shocks are garbage.
just bought a 6" pro comp for my 94 suburban k2500. i was wondering about the exhaust clearance but i have the 6.5td. i wonder what im gonna roll into. lol.
There was a modification I had a muffler shop do a couple quick saw zal cuts and added 6 inch pipe and mig weld done.
@@sappobbg ok sweet. Ty for the heads up. I have a new crossover pipe I need to install perfect time to figure this all out.
I’m looking at lifting my truck but idk if I wanna try and do it myself or have it done could you give me an estimate on how much it costed
