Wow, that woodland location looks absolutely stunning! The shifting light filtering through the trees really adds such a magical, atmospheric quality to the shots. I can see why it's considered one of the best spots in the country.
what a stunning location Steve, with some stunning lighting and atmosphere, beautiful images again mate, this line of trees is something very special, it is I think a real pity regarding the post and barbed wire, but that's me being picky, hope you don,t mind mate, we have to do the best with what we have, but saying all that what stunning captures mate.
Beautiful shot, just curious why you didn't go for a vertical shot here to give more feeling of depth with the path and adding some overhanging trees in the foreground of the picture?
Not shot this location yet Steve but was hoping to do so in August when up there. Looks like I'll need to make a winter visit to get the sun right. Thanks for all those tips. Shame about the new fence.....I'd seen on Flickr one was being put up.
Cracking location and images Steve. It’s fairly local to me, but I’ve only been there a couple of times. All it needs is a man with a chainsaw appearing out of the mist and then you’ve nailed the perfect shot 😂
Those newer fence posts stand out near the bottom , in front of the beech trees. They need a few more years to go green. Long lens is the way to go as you say. Super!
Fantastic images Steve, you really captured the mood, what a great place. You have definitely inspired me to use the word "shaftage" today! 😂😂 must be able to get it into a conversation somewhere lol

I agree, I’m sure they will blend in with time 👍❤️
Need to get myself to this location Steve. Every image a keeper 👍
It’s only about 20 minutes for where we was at the weekend. You will love it
Thank you Steve!! The photos are beautiful. Indeed perfect long lens photos.
Thank you ❤️👍
