Splitting tractor, rather than using skidsteer, put jackstands to support the front half of the tractor and use a floorjack under the trans tunnel and push on the rear tires allowing the rear half of the tractor to roll backwards separating the two halfs. The floorjack will roll with the back half of the tractor, then put a jackstand to support the rear half in case the floorjack creeps down while it is separated. You also might half to remove the the fast hitch to take weight off the back so the back half is balanced. Also I would undo the wiring harness to give you plenty of room to work. You can do it, you haven't back away from anything else.😊
In wv We have been told when the whole road is being paved they can hold traffic f or a maximum of 45 minutes at a time to work on the road. My road has alot of traffic on it. When they pave in town, they d o it from 7pm to 6am at night, even to cut the old black top of the road.
Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video. In the last few years, in Ireland, the rush and aggression of drivers has meant that flagmen have coins and other things thrown at them and at times are not safe. We have lights and vans that the traffic must follow and at times close the roads, as a result We cant even blame President Biden for this.
A bearing would be more of a deep rumble, getting louder as you pick up speed or, quieter as you slow down. I've had both front axle bearings go out within a year of each other on my car. Brake shoes are a pain to do by yourself. They keep trying to implode while you juggle tools around.

Keep an eye on your bearing too, If the emergency brake was binding it could cause a bit of heat to f up the bearing

Everyone seems to be in a hurry wish America would slow down a little

Nice shop fan 👍🏻
Good video.
I always have someone else work on my truck. Especially when it comes to brake work. My cousin's husband lost an eye due to a brake spring.

How much rain did you get? Did it flood your fields and hurt your crops ?
Sit at home and plan your trips. Then there will be less traffic.
Sometimes it's just better to hire the professionals...
