- I started this in like April or May RIGHT after the height of Charlie Slimecicle's QSMP lore, did a bunch of frames, lost motivation and then didn't touch it for a couple of months. TODAY I HAVE FINALLY, FINALLY FINISHED IT!!!
An animatic featuring Slimecicle, Juanaflippa, ElMariana and other members such as BadBoyHalo, JaidenAnimations, Roier and more!
My artstyle is whack, the subtitles are slack and my eyes are black but it's okay because it's all worth it. My first UA-cam upload in years lol.
I'm planning to make simpler, shorter animations in the future so that I'll be able to upload more often!

I noticed that when Charlie is completely slime, his ears look very similar to Gillian's ears. Just a cool little detail I saw and wanted to point out! :)
Aha that's a total coincidence but I defo think it works! I didn't know anything really about Gillian when I first started and designed Slime, but I think the coincidence makes it better
This is very underrated, hope it gains more attention. I also love the more sea monster take on slime here, usually he is just depicted as being slime all the time or just human. So it's good to see someone shaking things up.
Yeah!! I made him more like a sea monster because slimes are found in swamps, right? And swamps are wet. So surely he should be a more aquatic creature!
@@probsnotabi tbh I thought you made him a mix of his usual slime character and Gillion (his character of the D&D podcast). This makes sense too ig.
One thing though: If slimes get too much water into them, they kinda melt, so him being an aquatic creature doesn't make much sense. So I think something like an amphibian is much more fitting! Also an aquatic person needs to be in water most of the time (some just need to be wet ik), but Charlie seems to be fine with just the moisture. I have no clue how an amphibian Slimecicle would look tho? I personally wouldn't give him frog features. Axololt maybe?? Idk.
ANYWAY I still very love your version of Charlie, i'm just looking from a logical point!!
I meant amphibian, whoops lol. Maybe he's a special kind of slime - able to take a humanoid form, after all. I thought of him being like if a sea monster, a siren (the merfolk creature, not the bird one) and a slime was merged together. When he is distressed, his more monster traits come through. I guess you could apply something from that to make it make sense that he's able to survive on land? Maybe he doesn't breathe as we do, or maybe he just needs to avoid dehydration? I don't know haha, but it's fun to think about
Maybe the slime aspects help him retain water to help him breath on land and to retain moisture? Could also be a reason why he talks about his moisture a lot too and ends up in damp areas (in a stone wall at first then has a underground portion of his exile base thats next to the ocean)? I like hypotheticals like this :D@@probsnotabi

OH MY GOD???? THis is so underrated its insane, also I LOVE how marianas cape turns into a wing???? and charlie either being more human or more slime monster depending on his mental state??? Every frame could be taken and posted as its own artwork, its obvious how much care was put into this holy shit. amazing job!!

It took AGES, let me tell you that. My editing program kept crashing, I gave up for one or two months and I ended up redoing many frames BUT WE GOT HERE IN THE END

OH WOW! I really should have seen this sooner! This is so good! The drawings are beautiful, and the animation in the middle was good, very unsettling with the eye movement! I loved how the greif and anger he felt changed him into a self destroying monster, i really feel like that's a uniquely literal interpretation of how he went through all that pain in that arch. Personally, I would love to see more of your stuff, so definitely subbing for that. Will you do one of his code arch? Because this would be soo cool to see how the goop monster part may clash with the code and stuff. Very excited to see more of your stuff! (No rush tho lol, procrastination is valid)
