The Vikings were diverse Scandinavian seafarers from Norway, Sweden, and Denmark whose raids and subsequent settlements significantly impacted the cultures of Europe and the Mediterranean regions.
The Viking Age began in 793AD when these pagan raiders attacked Lindisfarne monastery in England, shocking the Christian community of western Europe.
They would keep returning, raiding, and then even settling across the northern hemisphere for almost three hundred years, becoming an integral part of early medieval Europe.
This video covers the origin and the evolution of the Vikings during the 9th to 11th century.

We have been striving to work on this channel (5 Minutes), producing high quality content that is also concise in as little as Minutes. We thought that this could be interesting to learn curated information in a very short period of time, especially given the quick pace of today's world.
However, unfortunately, after 1 year of consistent and patient work and regular posting of at least 1 video every 2 weeks, we have been disappointed to see that the channel has not really taken off on UA-cam. With Less than 1,000 subs and as little as 300 views per video, we see no other choice but having to halt and put an end to this project we really loved and enjoyed!
We involved different UA-cam experts to help us propagate the knowledge offered by this channel but the results have been modest. We understood that such low traction so far may be due to changes done by UA-cam on its ranking algorithms to compete with platforms such as TikTok in entertainment videos (dance, music, fun, cooking, sports...).
Although this is a hypothesis and is definitely not verified, we are unable to pursue this project for more than this past year given that it didn't really achieve its number 1 goal, which was reaching as much people as possible around the world and disseminating knowledge in a compelling way.
We will still be publishing our last 3-4 videos over the next couple months.

You missed out the part where the vikings got exterminated by the Saxons at Stamford bridge killing 13.000+ Vikings in their biggest invasion attempt of all time and the biggest viking army ever. Other than that, good video.
